In the past, I've never used wax on my soft board because it's a soft board, thus lead is I met a little kid surfing with me last time I went to the beach for a surf. The problem was I slipped off my board sometimes, so he asked whether I used wax. As soon as he told me he used wax all the time on his soft board, I wanted to try it. I was very happy with this stuff. The kid was right -- it didn't slip when I put it across my board. I like the smell of it, too! When I was standing on my board, I caught a whiff of pina colada and thought to myself, "hmmmmmmm". That made paddling out so much more enjoyable, plus I really wanted a pi*a colada at the end of the day!.
This is smaller than I expected, but it is sticky and nice.
There is a huge amount of overpriced wax being sold on Amazon. A bar of wax should never cost more than two Both soft and hard boards can be used with this. It's been a pleasure using it on my 5'10 thruster and I have not had any issues gripping it.
I tried Sexwax and other products. This is almost as if you are peeling the board off of yourself. I've been very happy with this.
Foam boards stick to this stuff much better, and it makes a big difference in what you achieve. Neither the quality nor the price can be beat. There is a summery smell in the air.
It's a good wax because the 711 stopped selling sticky bumps surf wax and just stupid coconut Sex Wax brand. I like that it comes with a sticker and I always order it when I run.
The wax can be sticky like many other waxes at this temperature range, but I like it, and it does what it's expected to do. It's not a big deal to wash my rash guard and baggies by hand.
