On one hand, we have a wood board and on the other, we have a board with colored foam grip. Using them on the carpet in my living room is a favorite pastime for my boys. Having said that, we haven't yet taken them to the beach (waiting for warmer temperatures). Definitely a great company to work for! The staff at the company went above and beyond to fix the problem after I contacted them. It was a very good purchase and I am happy with They will definitely be my first choice for future purchases.
