Summers on the lake are one of my favorite things to do, and I've always enjoyed paddleboarding. I would always rent one from the canoe rental shop in our neighborhood. Renting them on a regular basis becomes expensive, but I couldn't commit to the cost of a hardboard, so this inflatables price is very reasonable for all-around use. centered on recreational paddling This inflatable is similar to a hardboard, but it offers a number of benefits. This product's advantages include durability, portability, weight, flexibility, and injury prevention, with the ease of carrying it being the most convenient feature for me. When I arrive at my destination, I can easily inflate it. This kit includes a hand pump, paddles, an ankle leash, a repair kit, and a storage bag, among other things. In a river, I discovered that this board is simple to maneuver and glides effortlessly through the water. My adolescent son is new to paddle boarding, though I've been doing it for a while, and once he got the hang of it, he was able to maneuver the board with ease. It's got a non-aggressive attitude to it. It has a non-skid surface and a soft top, unlike a hardboard. This option appeals to me more because my son is a novice and his fall will be cushioned if he has an accident. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product's durability, appearance, and functionality.
So far, I've only used it once, but this is what I came up with: br>I went ahead and purchased an electric pump to go with it because I wanted it to be as simple as possible. With the manual pump, you might be able to pump it up in 5 minutes IF YOU DON'T GET TIRED, and believe me, you will. It was simple to slide in the fins, which have a clip lock and felt extremely secure once pumped. The paddle appears to be defective, as the adjustable handle length will not lock in place, which is inconvenient. The board and paddle handle similarly to the majority of rental boards I've tried. It's perfect for two people, and I can't wait to get back out on it!.
I had to go back and get another, which was unfortunate. I just received this today, and unfortunately there is a nick on the surface that could become a problem with continued use and exposure to the sun. Issues with quality control. The plastic hasn't even been removed yet, so it's straight out of the box. I was hoping to get it out tomorrow morning, but I'll have to wait another week. I'm glad I did my research before going to the bay. The pump isn't exactly up to par. When a new one arrives, I'll post an update.
I only got this board a week ago, but I've already used it twice. It is extremely stable due to its size. The backpack makes it simple to transport everything. Both an electric and a manual pump have been used by me. Both take about the same amount of time, so buying an electric pump isn't necessary. It's simple and quick to deflate. The bungee system on the front is about the only thing I would change. Having to turn around to get my water is a bit of a pain. I'm thinking about putting d- in there as well. This can be accomplished by attaching rings to the front.
It arrived today, and I took it to the beach on Lake Michigan, and WOW, what a fantastic device. It was simple to inflate, and the rubber construction surprised me with its thickness and durability. The one that resembles a painting of houses is the one I got. At least a dozen people came up to me and asked, "What is that?" and "Where did you get it?" This was my first time on a SUP board, and it was surprisingly stable in the face of constant small waves. I used one of those Tommy Bahama foldable beach chairs (short chair, about 6 inches off the ground) and it worked out great. I'm ecstatic about it, and I'm overjoyed. The pressure gauge on the pump, on the other hand, did not function. I'll re-enter the market tomorrow. Make sure it's not my fault, but I'm pretty sure the gauge is broken. It would be fantastic if the folks at Mousa saw this and could send me a replacement pump. But I'll double-check the next day. Overall, I recommend that you purchase this item. It's big, long, stable, well-made, stylish, and most importantly, a lot of fun. I did a downwinder in that chair, and a lot of people looked at me like, "What the hell is that?" Lol.
This board has a great look to it, and it's a good size—big enough for me and my two large dogs (each weighing 70 pounds) to sit on comfortably. My only wish is for some clear grip on the ends for my dogs, as they ride at each end while I paddle in the middle. Some boards have a thick grip from tip to tip, but I preferred the look of the Mousa boards, which have pattern designs on the ends. I only wish it had the same graphics but was grippy and not so slick and slippery so that my dogs could stand and move around freely, but because the ends are a little slippery, they crowd me in the middle, making it less stable and difficult for me to paddle. I'm thinking about getting those clear hexagonal grip stickers for surfboards, but they look so thin that I'm not sure if they'd provide enough traction or if they'd just be a waste of money because they're so expensive. Anyway, I give this board four stars only because the ends are slippery, and I intended to use the board for myself and two large dogs, so I'd need to use the entire length of the board for the pups. Even for me and my dogs, it's still a great board, but the only thing keeping it from being perfect for us is the lack of grip at the ends.
The board was ordered on May 27th and received three days later. When I first opened the package, it appeared to be in excellent condition. The box contained all of the items listed. When it was first inflated, there was a leak around the air valve. I tried using the provided tool to tighten it up but it didn't work, so I filed a return with Amazon and am waiting for the replacement to arrive. It's too bad it didn't work because my wife and I were looking forward to using it over the holiday weekend. Hopefully, the new one will not be affected by the same problem. Once we've tested the replacement, I'll post an update.
