Can this bag be closed with a plastic zipper or a metal zipper?

The zipper teeth are plastic/nylon with metal pull tabs and guides. My only complaint is that the compression straps on the front do not have clips, which would make it easier to use them to help secure bulky items, such as a The rest of my purchase has been satisfactory. How big of a space it is surprised me. I was able to fit my Intex K1 excursion kayak and paddles, as well as inflatable seats. It is so comfortable too. This would be easy for me to carry for a couple miles. Cushions are sturdy and well constructed.
