As far as my size goes, I am the same
There is no fisherman's wader here, nor is there a dry suit either. You can fill the inside with water if you stand in the water with these. Water will pour in when the ankles are submerged, as they have cuffs around the ankles, but they will fill with water after not a long time.
The size XL, or whatever it is, is what I bought.

The High Tide jacket was a good match for them. It is light weight and comfortable to wear. I usually buy size L, but went with XL for these, and am happy I did. They are waterproof, but sweat will build up underneath if you are working hard. In case of doubt, make sure to follow the size chart and buy a bigger size.
It was great to see these! Since I did not use the skirt in my kayak, I cannot test how well they repelled wind, water, and heat. It worked great, and it breathed well as The only part of my body that got sweaty was behind the knees, but the seat, ankles, and waist were completely.
The quality is good.
I can deal with it.
When I paddled Nantahala last year, both of them kept me warm. The medium was just right for me as I am 5'11".
I chose the XL because my waist is 36-38 At 5'10", I'm just shy of the national average. If I was more than 6'6", they would not mind, but I'm about average. There's a ridiculous length to the inseam of these pants I can bare my nipples up to my waist.
