As it was packaged so carefully and protectively, it took me far too long to remove it from its packaging. Since I was a little girl, I have been river kayaking weekly for at least 12 years. I enjoy it so much.
Pins used for the adjustment of the seat are inexpensive. Despite its name, the waterproof back hatch is NOT waterproof. It has a very cool look to it. Buy something else instead of 500 dollars.
In any event, order some sealant and a drain kit if those are problems you are concerned about.
I would consider this a failure for this brand new, expensive kayak, not only because it arrived damaged and scratched, but also because the bulkhead seal is defective. It should have been constructed better and isn't The purchase of this item on Amazon is not recommended. Here are photos of the state it was delivered in the packaging was torn, the box scratched, etc.
Although I have other kayaks I would like to own, it is hard to imagine the lucky paddler who gets to use the Pungo for any adventure we take not being considered "the lucky one. ".
We use it just to have a leisurely cruise around the lake and for fishing sometimes.
