Questions & Answers

Where can I find out how wide it is?

It is 36 inches wide. It is 120 inches long, 36 inches wide and 20 inches high.

According to the tech details, there is a rudder included, but does it really come with it as said?

It has been two years since I bought mine. There was a listing for one of these available for The mount came from a motor mount shop and I purchased a trolling motor with 55 pounds of thrust. I really like it. However, I used this for about a year before getting the motor (because I had poor results from shoulder surgery). It doesn't matter if you don't have a rudder.

Kayaks can be carried by two people at once, so is it possible to fish with two people aboard? Wouldn't it make casting more difficult with the other person present?

There's no question that two of them can fit, but fishing them off if it is another matter. The first time we tried it, it didn't work. One person can paddle the bigger kayak just as well as the smaller one. There is plenty of space. For two people to fish, it does not work. If you want to paddle around with someone, you might get a second kayak, but buying one is probably more fun. But this is a great one for one person!

Be sure that the design and build are in good Please be aware When I took a kayak out for the first time, my boat started Once we reached shore, we discovered that one of the scupper plug holes with plugs in was allowing water to seep The hole attached to the plugs is a gaping hole that I discovered when I took out the plugs
3/5

I was extremely disappointed and the situation could have been very dangerous if the boat had become unstable while I was on it. We will have to wait and see how this warranty claim turns out. A key fob for my car is also damaged, as is my phone. A brief update I contacted customer service about my warranty claim two weeks ago but did not hear back. This is unreal. Once per week I am called to follow up (1 hour of hold each time) and am told that I am still on hold as they haven't reached out Will it be ready in two I'm filing a claim with Amazon right.

The ability to withstand the elements and to navigate a variety of seas
5/5

Kayaks like this one are sold for a lot of money, but it's still one of my favorites. Besides using this boat in the open gulf where I launch from the beach through the surf, I also spent a 6 day camping trip from McGlain, Mississippi on the Leaf River, down to the Pascagoula River, then down to Gautier Mississippi along the Gulf coast. (My wife and I) use our kayaks to explore Davis Bayou and Fort Pickens in Gulf National Seashore. The kayak I have is stable, does well through the surf, and I can carry a lot of weight with it. This product is rated for 500 pounds. It is estimated that I weigh around two hundred pounds. It is no problem for me to load this yak on top of our van at the age of 87 because I am 5' 7" tall. Kayaks are a common way for us to camp on Deer island across from Biloxi, Mississippi. As I stand up on my kayak, I am able to cast my 8 foot cast net. The table top sits on your lap. There is an ocean kayak in my wife's possession. I prefer my kayak to this one, even though it is a good kayak. This year, my family and I plan to take a trip to Cat Island and the other barrier islands. The yaks are used for fishing by yak people who are avid fishers and have a passion for the ocean. I easily can't keep up with my wife since this yak is slower than some others, which makes it less useful for keeping up with the crowd. I would not trade it in for hers, though.

It was too late to find a hole in the hull Unfortunately, I am now out $500
3/5

My order for this was placed in December, and it has been left in the garage ever since. I pulled it out of the water today to get to a lake for the first time and found a spot on the side of the hull where the material appears to have melted away (see photo). Though the hole does not go all the way through, given how deep it is there is probably not much material left left, so it is probably going to break through sooner or The hull was also bouncing around with some of the cast pieces that had been cut out of it. Although I must have neglected to thoroughly check a brand new kayak when I received it in December, I must admit that it's a factor. A hole was found in the boat I got. The weather looks like it will be nice today My payment for this was $500. It is clearly not a purchase I would recommend Apart from the damage, there was a cut on the lip It seems that the pieces flying inside the hull indicate that QC might not be running as expected There is no such concern at this manufacturer, or do they just not give a damn? Even so, you should make sure to thoroughly inspect the item upon arrival if you still decide to buy anyway It might be an unpleasent surprise next summer if you don't plan ahead.

Since he has autism, I wanted a place that would be stable and I didn't want to live in an unstructured environment
4/5

This kayak was bought by my son so he could go fishing in it. One of the ones we had was one sided We are cramped (he is 8 years old) and the room is too small for both of us. In light of his autism, I wanted something quite stable for him so as not to have to worry about Reviewers have mentioned similar things here in the past It turns out that the kayak is very spacious and that there is more than enough room inside for both of us (I am 5'8 and 190 pounds). I have been using it for a month and so far, I am very happy with it. We have been going every weekend as well, The kayak actually sits higher in the water than the one we have been using, so it has become quite easy for me to paddle. Small paddles are probably a good thing for kids learning to row because they will be easier to control. The seat can be sat in, but it requires a bit of exertion The ordination of. I purchased an egg crate and strapped it with bungee cords to the back of the crate, which works well for storage. Aside from room for your fishing poles and drinks, the dingy had a lot of storage space. Also, it seems like the plastic hull is very sturdy. Listed below are several potential downsides to this. 2) It is heavy, you might want to get a cart for it. There is something often bought together with this kayak but it does not seem to work well with it. It used to be easy to carry by its handle, but that began to rip, so I now lug it by getting hold of the grooves on the side. It's a little tricky. My son and I are working on teaching him to help carry it, which should solve the problem. 1) It takes a month for you to get your package. 3) Based on your statement, I can agree that you might consider investing in a better chair. In my case, the cushioning works fine, but if you have a bad back or need more padding, you may want to consider that. The other day, I came so close to catching a huge bass. There seems to have been a jump off the hook at the last minute, I'm not sure whether it was my fault or the kayak's yet. It was so crazy that a guy yelled at me from the shore asking about it. ) My recommendation is for a fisherman looking for a little extra room to use a kayak. br>/br> br>br>Chad.

Tandem fishing kayak that is perfect for two
5/5

The kayak I have is great! With my wife by my side, I want to purchase an easy to use fishing kayak. Having conducted an extensive search and considered many options, we ended up choosing this Lifetime Sport Fisher tandem fishing kayak. Having taken it out several times for fishing, it has proved to be an excellent choice. As well as a trolling motor, we have a paddle to assist us when we're paddling against the current or on windy days. It turned out that the Lifetime mount was around $200 and had a limited selection, so I made my own (see photo). There are a few more ways I can add accessories to this kayak that I'm working on. The bike is highly versatile - we even took our dog out on it, and she loved.

It can also be handled by my grandson, who is 11 years old
5/5

It is a very stable kayak if you are looking for one. If you want a kayak, then this is it. My first one was purchased at a yard sale last year, and soon after, I ordered a second, as well. The kayak I bought for my friend was sold along with both of her kayaks. A small child can easily stand on it and it is steady enough for my son, who is tall and 250 pounds. My grandson is 11 years old and can easily handle it My family and I were just asked to order a third one. Although the triple hull won't cut through the water like a smaller kayak, the kayaks don't go as fast as a smaller kayak. You shouldn't go for it if speed is what you need.
