Questions & Answers
Boat is very stable, but in class II, the paddler must know the basics or be prepared to swim.
One was shipped in a box, and the other was shipped in a plastic bag. As a result, you should most likely ask them directly.
Plastic had been used to wrap my present. Because there was no box, the dimensions of the kayak were the only thing available.

It's simple for her to maneuver and get in and out of; she's about 50 pounds right now, and it's very stable and tracks well for her. She can even take our 40-pound dog with her on the kayak. I can even paddle around in it because the weight limit is 130 pounds, but it's more for fun and being silly than for long distance paddling because it doesn't track well at that weight. With half of the back seat folded down, I can fit the kayak in the back of my Subaru Outback, leaving plenty of room for the kid, other gear, and dogs. It's not too heavy. I was able to carry it from my car to the launch with ease. People at the lake frequently inquire about it, as they are interested in purchasing one for their own children. br>br>There were some issues with delivery because the carrier misplaced it, but the seller was quick to respond and correct the situation once I informed them.
My 6-year-old grandson, who has been kayaking with his father for years, received this as a present. They live on the Chesapeake Bay and love being out on the water. So, for his birthday, he'd like his own kayak. He is a skilled swimmer who always wears his PFD, so the open design was a great idea. br>br>This is NOT a game for children who are fearful, untrained, or unsupervised. It's the genuine article.
🦮. I bought it to float around in the pool with my golden retriever. She adored her rubber rafts, but she ruined both types as she climbed in and out! We got some mat stuff to stick on it so she won't slip, and the kayak should last a long time. She enjoys floating in it in the pool. Use under the supervision of an adult! 🦮.
I loved how much my 9-year-old son enjoyed his birthday kayak! It's the ideal size for her, and it's very easy to maneuver. My 16-year-old is envious; I'll have to go out and get another! Our Honda Odyssey had no trouble fitting it in. I would strongly suggest it.
Paddles and steering are simple enough for a six-year-old to do. It's also been extremely steady. However, our child wishes it had a seatback, as leaning back and stretching out the back on longer paddles would be nice. He has to lean forward all of the time, and there isn't much support for his back.
This is a fantastic kayak for kids of all ages. For any lake or flatwater situation, this is an excellent choice. Even in small waves, it appears to be extremely stable. The included paddle also appears to be of good quality for leisurely paddling, which was a major selling point when comparing options and prices. We threw in a Stolquist pfd for good measure, and the total came in under $130. This package is suitable for any young paddler under the age of 100 (it is rated up to 130). PS - I spent $20 on an aftermarket seat. This is a fantastic offer.
It is a big hit with my kids. Light but stable. It's a good fit for the suburban's trailer hitch luggage rack. On the empty space in the back, it would be nice to have tie downs or tie down points installed. A pack or cargo can be stowed, but there is no way to secure it. In the near future, I plan to install stainless steel footman loops on the back.
This is fantastic! To begin with, it's the ideal size and weight for my son. It even accommodates my mother, which is a huge plus! I'm glad it came with a paddle because it appears to be of excellent quality. The seller wasn't very good, and there was a lot of confusion about tracking and shipping. However, it is a fantastic product in the end.
