Questions & Answers

Does the bottom of the seats have Velcro? How are the seats attached?

Our Sea Eagle DKS seat is available and thanks for your interest. Although it does not have velcro on the bottom, it does have straps and a hook at each end that you can attach to whatever kayak you choose to use it with. Inflated Sports Kayaks do not attach directly to the kayak. Instead, it will stay in place when inflated and will not move.

To what weight will this chair be able to stand up?

Neither the seat nor the box state a maximum weight it can support. However, I wouldn't fit more than two people in the two-person box It would be a well-designed boat that would be able to handle several people and their gear while staying within the maximum weight rating. We gained a higher level of comfort

In our Dave Scaddon Stingray 360, we were using the dual strap seat system. When we were on the water, we found that the latching points would dig into our legs, causing lots of discomfort. It was so bad that we would linger on the water for about an hour before getting I lost track of time and was on the water for more than 4 hours with these two seats. They are a true game changer for.

This is the type of seat my husband prefers. The ones that come with the boat are my favorite.
