The whole story, from start to finish
4/5

Don't hesitate to purchase! There's nothing I dislike about the kayak at all. It only has 4 stars because you cannot grip it from the side, which makes it harder to manage. The process of loading and unloading was problematic. It's difficult for you to maintain a good grip on the side. My skills at speed are already pretty good, which is why I'm such a strong arm paddler. It was a nice sit up top for Speed. The amount of room you have to carry around for a long trip is awesome. During which I recently spent 9 hours in a kayak and paddled down various Class 1 waves Since I've been paddling for about 5 months, I can handle 2 whitewater sections with no problems. I absolutely love it! This is the perfect vehicle for my 5-year-old since it has plenty of space for him in the back. The bonus is on us! The weather is hot here right now, and I like to sit in right now. Especially in the summer with it being hot out, to be able to sit on top of the white water and swim off of and back in is what you want. I managed to save myself I didn't sink. The turn is still easy to do. I found it easily to scoot up all the way to the front of the kayak so that I could enter the front compartment. This has quick-release latches so it's easy to open and close as opposed to. There are rubber ones that must be returned to their original place. The other reason I love swimming is that it's great for my legs to be submerged. Being able to rock the kayak back and forth while descending the river, as well as sit on the side edge of the kayak and cool off while being able to sit on the side edge of the kayak. When summer was in full swing, I enjoyed a Mikes Hard Lemonade with some friends. It had to be done. With a weight of 140 lbs and a height of 5'6", I'm comparatively small. did not feel as though I was going to fall because I was able to move around just fine. The drain holes on the car are still cold, so I bought 6 plugs to seal them up for a dryer ride. Since Oregon is a rainy state, I also have waterproof pants, boots, and jackets to keep me dry. In my case, I would be able to sit on the Sit up top without all of the weather hindering There is no issue transporting the 12 footer. It is not too long or too short. I can easily fit it in the trunk of my suburban. From the rear of my SUV, there was only a foot and a half sticking out. It won't take much to keep the back doors open once they're secured with a few straps. As compared to It takes a lot of energy to haul it on my trailer when I take more friends kayaking. It's so awesome that it's red! It is the solid handles from the front and back of the unit that has made it so attractive. In this way, kayaks have a better chance of not being stolen overnight while camping because they are easier to lock up around trees or anything else. My car is parked somewhere else, so I can't shuttle back. In the end, I decided to purchase the twin of this brand and color on Amazon just because it matched my needs. I now own a new 12' footer yak (Sit in) from Preception for 2019. It is the sit-on-top Pascador kayak here on top of the tripod that I will use all summer long. It has rapids and is notorious for flipping yaks over. I have to go down these rivers. With a solid one-piece sit on top, your boat will not sink, and it will be easier for you to rescue yourself should you capsize. As compared to It was a sit-in. I like the sit-in because it is perfect for cooler days, and it's also great for dirty water you don't want to squish your legs in. Additionally, it is an excellent choice to paddle on flat water. With a sit in, it is hard to self rescue in fast moving water. Even if I have to sit in many other types of water, the sit in will work fine for me. You might be wondering if it is better to sit in or sit on top if you are unsure which kayak to get. How experienced you are, and what kind of water you will be in, will affect how you do it. I would like to know what you plan to do Does it serve as just a fun recreational activity? Once you have the 10 footer, you're done. You can stay in flat, slow-moving water as long as it is flat. It is possible to use any brand. Sit ons or sit ins are fine. If you plan on river runs or longer day trips, then a sit on or sit in is better. I would recommend this brand if you're looking for a kayak with at least 12 feet of length. There is a 55 pound limit on how much you can lift, so make sure you can lift more than 50 pounds. Kayaks that are smaller and lighter can be used for recreational purposes. It is recommended that you plan to take rivers and fast moving water if you are new to the sport. It is best to kayak during warm months just in case you capsize. Otherwise, you would need to wear expensive winter gear due to the extremely cold water that is present during any other time of year. I recommend both a sit on top and a sit on the ground. It is safe to swim/capsize with your kayaks because you can swim with them without sinking them. Here are some examples My three friends capsized out of nowhere in the same month last summer. They were brand new to the sport. I couldn't reach her due to the strong river current the first time I saw her, as she was up river from me. It was too difficult for her to flip the water out and drag it out of the moving river in her (SIT IN) kayak, so she almost gave up. She may have become stuck in the location she was in as a result of that. It would be incredibly difficult to get her out of the situation unless she took action. Even if I were able to get a phone signal, I would have needed to call 911 for help. A marine radio could have been very useful. My guy friend capsized in the river two weeks later because of a strong current. He could swim with the kayak, which was fortunate for me since we happened to be near the We would have sunk my kayaks further away from shore had we been further afield. Two guys turned the kayak over with so much water in it, because it was upside down. After that, another newbie friend capsized sitting on top of my "sit on top" 9 foot emotion kayak for no apparent LOL, but she was able to easily flip over and pull herself out. That's something to keep I ask you the same question what kind of water are you looking forward to being in, as well as how much experience you have in swimming? Watch out for anything that might happen. Always dress appropriately for a swim and there is no place to swim where I come from In the winter months the water is still freezing cold, even with the sun out. You can even die in the water without proper gear if you paddle without proper gear. Sitting on top of the 12 footer, it has good stability and the longer, the faster it will go. By the time you reach fourteen feet, you are in trouble. This leads to a less stable environment. A kayak like this is a great choice Sit-in kayaks are good for having as an option as a second choice, and I'd recommend the JoyRide 12 footer sit-in as a good second option. Having it on top of a stool will increase stability even further. They are both great options for those who are just starting out. As soon as I get it and use it by May, I will be writing a review for my Sit in Joyride.

I'm glad I didn't do business with Confluence Outdoor! Confluence Outdoor should be avoided at all costs
3/5

Originally left on a beach by another customer, the kayak was damaged when returned to them. It was on May 28 that we first contacted them. Our attempts to reach them on the phone were unsuccessful, so we emailed them instead. I finally got a response from them on June 17 after prodding them numerous times. Despite the fact that they messed around with it until it was too late to return, they found they were unable to. The only way I could give them less than a star would be to remove it!.

The kayak is beautiful but does not include any advice

I spent about $650 on this There's nothing like the sight of a red tiger. The problem is. Nowhere in the manual does it state that you need six plugs to plug in According to my reading, it came with nothing so a set of 4 was "available" and I needed them, but you had to get This statement is nowhere to be found. There will be rain for a while, so the mail and orders can catch up, but if I want to use them that day, there will be rain. Getting started right out of the box. The truth is that it isn't!.

Yaks that are well-made, fast, affordable, and can be used as a beginner's On YouTube, I found a favorable review of the Pescador, so I decided to purchase it
5/5

I bought it at Amazon for around a hundred dollars less than what I would have paid at Amazon or Kayaks like this are good for people who want to get into kayaking. I would like to know how long it is. As a 200-pound woman, I wanted to be sure I would be able to float easily. My seat holds a line fairly well with people with more expensive, lighter seats, but I have to work a little harder to keep up. I have ridden with folks with more expensive, lighter seats. I use a cushion on the seat since it is not very plush. It's easy to lift and handle the yak because of the solid handles. In addition, it can be tied down to travel easily. Fishing is a little bit of what I do with it, and it does its job well. It is a very nice yak, and I am very pleased with it.

This is a great kayak
5/5

During our first trip with our kayaks today, we were able to test them out. It was great to have A very easy way to carry, they do not get full of water, and they glide nicely. As we are in our late 50s and have never kayaked before, it seemed like an ideal activity for us. These kayaks were very nice. We did not have any problems with them. Cotton candy is so vibrant and beautiful (we ordered cotton candy) I had a 10' long roll. I bought a 10ft for myself and my husband bought a 12ft for him. Our truck hauls them behind it. A good balance, easy to get in and out, and comfortable to sit on are the characteristics of these chairs. There are a lot of storage areas and the cup holder is a great feature. The kayak just has a really nice feel to it all around.

I like your kayak a lot! Despite being my first Kayak, I find it to be very good for beginners
5/5

The first trip, a 16 mile journey down the lower Guadalupe in Central Texas, was my first rafting trip. I had no trouble managing all the rapids or what we called the tube shoot. All of the items in the compartment stayed dry when I rolled it once. This activity has me totally hooked.

The vessel is great! This kayak is awesome! The 12-foot Pescador is easy-to-drive, has more storage space than you'd expect, is comfortable to sit in, is ready for a rudder, and weighs just over 60 pounds
4/5

As it's light enough to carry and load into a truck, it's easy to move. It is convenient and safe to lash down and haul the boat using the molded handles on the bow and stern. When carrying from the side, this product is very balanced with the hand grips on the sides placed well (even if they are not perfect) for balance. There were no scuffs, scrapes, dents, or any other disfigurements from shipping when this product Although there would've been a cool thing to have been a dry storage compartment for wallet, keys, etc. there have been no complaints so far about the ferry. I was not pleased with the shipping time. In order to attain the guaranteed 9am to 530pm delivery time, the shipping had to occur between these hours. I will arrive at 1200 hours. I was told it would arrive on the day of delivery, but it did not arrive until late in the afternoon, which significantly delayed my camping trip.
