There doesn't appear to be any reason that water might get into a kayak under normal circumstances, unless it is a leaking (defective) kayak. A kayak trip to the creek and the mallow's bay was several times enjoyed. No water got on him.
An overview of the supply
When you scroll down to read the information, there is a table where you can see all the information you need and where the diff comparison is shown. They are modelled. "Maximum" is written on it. Approximately 300 pounds. To be on the safe side, I'd suggest going with 275 lbs.
Just under two weeks later, I received mine. I ordered it on July 16th. That would have been great except that it had a huge gash in the bottom, and it had been delivered before I realized it. For my part, I would ask them to wait so you can have a chance to examine the document.

I sent images to Pelican and they assured me that the scratches on the side were merely cosmetic. They came looking like they had been sitting on the floor of a warehouse and had some superficial, but rather deep gauges on the side. As there were no kayaks available within 200 miles of our house, we waited three weeks (with pandemic) and decided to keep them after much worrying. Plastic was purchased for $15 to melt onto the gouges. Still haven't gotten around to it. Let us now turn our attention to As it is my first kayak, I think that this is the best option within my price range. This hotel has a lot of extras that make it special. Despite the fact that the seat itself is worth $50, I have difficulty getting in and out of it. A large amount of stuff can be stored in the hatch at the back. As much as I tried to practice getting back into my kayak by flipping it on purpose, it was not waterproof. The breadth is so wide, however, that I don't see it flipping otherwise so I don't care how it comes to be. Stability is great on the kayak. Besides the bungee cord that holds the paddle on to the side when I want to float, I appreciate that the hand grips aren't molded into the kayak but are simply grips on a string so it's easier to carry. The boat keeps going forward when I stop paddling as long as it's going in a straight line. This rack is light enough for two 60 year olds to be able to get on and off easily. I am very happy with my purchase, would recommend it to others.
She waited patiently for the wait to be over! This tent was spacious enough to store my camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, food, dry bag, and I used the back hatch as my cooler for food) on for a hike to a Teton campsite only accessible via the Missouri River. The Pelican is a brand I would recommend as a returning customer.
Having just received my new Argo 100XR kayak, which I purchased through Amazon and NSD Shipping, I am so pleased. In a nutshell, You have a good product! Thanks for all your hard work. Having purchased a Pelican kayak for the fourth time, I will now be owning five kayaks. Item
In a nutshell, This will also be the first Pelican kayak I receive with damage that has been caused by the transport process. Accordingly, I am including below my Pelican request for a damage report, along with my Amazon request for a Damage to Shipping #1)
It is not recommended that a polyethylene product such as a Pelican kayak be shipped standing up on it's bow or stern during the This was also the case with mine. In a nutshell, In a nutshell, It is easy for the polyethylene hull to soften in a closed truck when the temperature reaches over 100 degrees F. After this happens, gravity takes over and the bow or stern caves in and collapses (see photo #1 on this page). In a nutshell, There is no way you should allow a customer to see such an ugly sight when they view their beautiful, and highly expensive, new In a nutshell, In a nutshell, I resoftened and reshaped my kayak's hull and it looks much better (see happy photo #2), using a rounded broom handle and a hair dryer (on low), after removing the hatch cover and the Item
As a result I have solved the frightening shipping damage problem #1. In a nutshell, It is, however, crucial that you contact Amazon and your shipping company, NSD in this case, and advise them never to ship kayaks vertically or stack heavy items on them when it is hot out. In a nutshell, Shipment Damage Problem #2)
I certainly won't be protected against an indifferent shipping employee thanks to the thin layers of bubble wrap and plastic my kayak came wrapped in. In a nutshell, Apparently, my kayak was exposed to quite a bit of wave action since the wrap at the ends did not survive well enough to actually offer much protection, since it had been shipped vertically and tossed around a bit between several vehicles. In a nutshell, In a nutshell, The result is
- After the trip, I ended up with several pretty deep surface scratches and gouges on my kayak. In a nutshell, The PELICAN shipping department should add at least one more layer of bubble wrap and additional protection at the two ends if they wish that I could live with them. In a nutshell, It is unusual that Costco kayaks arrive in a long, sturdy box when they are shipped. In a nutshell, Is it too late for Amazon? In a nutshell, The shipping damage problem #2 is. . . Sadly, this is acceptable. The Shipping Damage Problem #3) In the kayak I lean back and roll a bit In a nutshell, If you take delivery of a kayak that costs $500 plus, you would expect the ID label to arrive undamaged, too. "Minor cosmetic damage," you might say, however, when you bring home such a kayak, you should expect the ID label to be similarly In a nutshell, In light of this, we can conclude that In light of the fact I was able to resolve shipping damage problems #1 and #2 on my own, at no cost to Pelican or to Amazon, I request that I be shipped a new package. Does the hull deck label on the Argo 100XR indicate that it is a racing model? In a nutshell, In a nutshell, Where I will be generously (and happily) applying my skills. As I wonder which model would be my FIFTH Pelican kayak one day! In a nutshell, This product deserves a perfect 5 out of 5 star rating despite the delivery care. As a result, I gave my review a 4 out of 5. A brief update I now have had a brand new label for my "Argo 100XR" hull deck shipped from Pelican. There is a sense of calm in Pelican's world again! The product is great. The company is great. I'm not the best.
Back in September, I purchased two of these and have continued to use them even in near freezing weather (when wearing a You can get on this boat if you want to get on still water, and it is very comfortable. It is a class 1 (slow moving with no rocks) vessel. This allowed me to sail some class 2 water (faster with rocks but clear passages) but I picked up water on it (I wouldn't use it for There is convenient bungee access in very convenient spots. The boats are light, easy to carry, comfortable to sit on, stable in water, and have comfortable seats. Then again But. It is thermoplastic It is very easy to scratch and dent formed polyethylene hauls. When I found out that one of my boats was delivered with the stern pushed in, it was immediately tested in the water with the dent and boat pulled constantly to the right, and Amazon quickly replaced it (there fore I love them a great deal and will use them for years of leisure, but my intense side is disappointed by some of the performance limitations.
Just an FYI. With the help of a 2x4 and a few structural screws, I designed and constructed a ceiling rack for them. We will be happy to send a drawing out for any DIY'ers.
On one of the two (I bought two), the delivery came on time but there was a dent and a scratch on it. We are trying out a kayak for the first time. Although not cheap when you first buy it, it is good enough for people who have never kayaked before. Even when there is a dent or scratch, the boat is still safe and works well on the water as it is loved by my husband. In the end I talked to Amazon customer service and got a discount on it. purposefully chose this one because it's sold and shipped by Amazon and it turned out to be a very wise move. Their customer service was very The basic features, such as a place for a bottle of water and a paddle holder, are present. A chair that can be removed. During the first two hours, the seat was comfortable The course lasts about 3 hours. I love my butts, though! There is nothing wrong with the chair, it has everything to do with sitting in that position for long periods of time.
A really awesome kayak, it weighs 42 pounds and fits in the trunk of my convertible car, I was a little unsure whether it would. If I were to buy this product again, I would definitely do so.
