Questions & Answers
My answer is yes
It is capable of supporting 225 lbs of weight. Thus, if you are under that weight with both you and your dog, you should be fine.
The kayak is not designed to be stood in.
You can put 225 pounds of weight on the 225 lb capacity. That means you're going to be cutting it pretty The size of someone like that would benefit from something a bit larger.

After using it in a river for 2 hours, I would recommend it. The plane is very stable for its size, has an excellent direction, and is very fast. It did not rain on me at all, as others reported. Kayakers are probably used to the size or may not be used to the stability. At 6 feet and 165 pounds, I am 165 pounds tall.
This kayak was not worth it and the customer service was terrible. They did not respond for days after I informed them. Neither they nor their customer service representatives said anything until after it had shipped that said I could return it and get a refund. Due to the fact that it is a kayak, it would be quite a bit. There are very few features in this kayak, which has a small weight capacity, thin cheap material, and a very low weight capacity. I ended up sending the kayak I planned to order, and it ended up being three feet longer and a lot more durable than I had expected. It can also carry 100 pounds more and has many more Additionally, it was delivered to me much faster than before and was for the same exact price. It is not a good kayak to buy.
This kayak has never shown up before, so I am not sure if it is real. CEVA, the outfit that promised delivery, has not provided a way to track the shipment since it was promised to arrive nearly six weeks ago. We are now approaching the end of summer and the ordered kayak is also nowhere to be found.
Two of these Kayaks from Lifetime were purchased by me at the end of summer and I had a blast paddling with my kids on the lake. We can fit the Kayaks in our Honda Odyssey while leaving one driver and one passenger in place. There is a lot more stability in a Kayak than in 10 feet kayaks, plus you have a lot more The lakes were fantastic for kayaking, fishing, and relaxing for a couple of hours every time. A man can carry these to the lakeside without any issue. They are not overly heavy, just enough for a regular man to carry.
I bought this for my son, who is 13 years old and 80 pounds. It took him literally 3 seconds to catch on to what to do, he was paddling all over the place and enjoying himself. It was really difficult for me to capsize it once he was on it. I rocked the boat back and forth in the water with him on He stays dry in the rain because of that goofy looking, bulbous rear end. There is a paddle included, which is about 220 cm long, which is a pretty short paddle for adult size, but he can use it.
I bought it to have a small kayak that I could throw in the bed of my truck or on top of my suv. A padded seat makes it very comfortable (it's easy to use, fairly stable, and fairly stable). As a 5'5" person, I have no problem wearing it, but that may not be so for someone in a much taller position. The fact that it is not too heavy and holds up well makes it a great pick for one person.
It was a great purchase for me. Anchors are good for preventing drift because you do not have to spend most of your time paddling to compensate for it. A great kayak for beginners, but my bottom is very soggy due to water leaking through the foam, but from what I hear that is pretty normal with top mount kayaks.
As I was being dragged around by a 25 pound blue whale, it was pretty fun.
