My size chart does not fit. I am 5'4". I should have followed the comments rather than the size chart. Weighing 130 pounds and having a 6 inch gap at the hips, the medium was 6 inches wide. The item is used for lap swimming. Those stretched out and filled with water after being in water for 30 minutes! The suit was so flooded that I was unable to maintain my form or keep my balance. I looked like a snowman right after I got out of the water! As they have only been worn once, I cannot exchange or return them. They will not be of any use to me, though.

I used it to do water aerobics in an outdoor pool heated to 84 degrees, but with an outside temperature in the 40's. It is really noticeable how much different my comfort level is when I have the jacket on versus without it.
