Size 8 is what I would recommend. The size chart is as follows. br>This is what size 8 is for: br>height is the measurement of the distance between two points. 4'4. 5" - 4'7. 5" in length, br>weight - 60 - br>chest - br>br>br>br>br>b 26" - a waist size of 28" br>br>br>br>br>br>br> 23" - 25"
My son weighs 23 kilograms and stands 123 centimeters tall, and he wears a size 6.
Because these are very form fitting, going up a size, such as an 8 or 10, may be safer.
Sorry, but your son needs to get used to the neck area because you don't want too much water coming in! You must, without a doubt, fit your body!

First and foremost, the fit is terrible; height fits my 8-year-old perfectly; he's in the 50th percentile for both height and weight; the suit is slightly too long in the leg, but that's fine; he'll grow into it. A wetsuit traps a thin layer of water between the skin and the suit, which warms from the body to keep the wearer warm. Unfortunately, it's so baggy and loose that it's not even functional. This suit is just hanging off my son, again 8yr old and 50% percentage kid. Even if he outgrows the length in a year or two, he will not be close to filling the suit unless he becomes obese. Second, the suit design lacks a small piece of velcro to prevent the zipper from falling down on its own. His zipper has come down every time he's gone surfing or swimming in the pool, allowing the water to drain right in and through the suit. It makes him feel heavy and could even put him in danger of drowning. br>br>Don't buy this wetsuit; look for something else. My daughter recently bought a Billabong suit, which fits her perfectly and has a higher design quality.
Even O'Neill's wetsuits can be of dubious quality, which I never thought I'd have to say. The warmth and sleekness are fine, but the stitching is poor, resulting in bloody, irritated rash marks on both of my boys' necks that took a week to two weeks to heal (2 different sizes of the same wetsuit model, 2 different people, same location or rubbing - It's unlikely to be a coincidence. The stitching on the side of their neck is precisely where the mark is. The stitching, which came apart after the first use (possibly because it came that way, but I didn't notice until after I used it). For a $100 product, this is not what I expected!! And, may I add, the low-cost off-season? The brand spring suit, on the other hand, does not have this issue (it is simply not warm enough, hence the splurge).
We received the product a little late, but we were disappointed in the quality and care with which it was packaged. The stitching is poor, and the wetsuit appears to have been worn and poorly managed before, or the shipping was more difficult than expected, resulting in a poor quality wetsuit. We ordered one from Dicks for our other child (same manufacturer) and it appeared to be fine; however, we were extremely disappointed with this product and intend to return it.
This isn't your typical O'neill cut. This was purchased for my son, who had outgrown his size 14B Quiksilver Syncro. That suit was a perfect fit for him, with little to no water flush. The same suit in a 16B was out of stock. So, in a pinch, I bought this. br>I had to return this because the size 16 I ordered was too big for me, with enormous hips and thighs. I'm not sure what I'm saying. Perhaps it's a suit designed for women. br>However, the listing for this was ambiguous. To be fair, I've owned and enjoyed a number of O'neill Fullsuits. br>Perhaps it's for diving or something? br>It's not a 16 for a boy who will be surfing in it. br>2 stars because the listing was unclear and returning it was a major hassle.
BTW - I found a 16B Syncro that fits perfectly once more.
I ordered this wetsuit for my son in July, and it's now September, and he's only worn it about ten times. We live in Southern California, where the water is warm, so he only started wearing it around the first week of September. The velcro was defective, and the small hooks on the opposite side were ripped off. Every time Duke dives or falls on a wave, water gets into his suit; I need to contact the vendor because this is not typical of my experience with O'Neill's; I've been using their product for years.
The lengths of the arms and legs were perfect. This was purchased for my niece, who is 11 years old and dives with me. I ordered a size ten for her because she is a size ten with a normal build. It was perfect for her. The arm and leg lengths were perfect, with the only complaint being that the neck was a little tight at first. She had no problems and never mentioned the neck tightness after 3 hours in the pool and four dives in the ocean. I think I just did the zipper flap too tight the first time, and I made sure not to do it again during our ocean dives. This wetsuit is a big hit with her!.
For children, this is an excellent suit. The ankle zips are a nice touch. It makes it a lot easier to take off a wet wetsuit. The only issue I have with it is that it appears to be a little thin for a 3/2 millimeter suit. I think I would have bought the Epic if I had had the extra cash. My 11-year-old grandson likes it, so I kept it. He stayed reasonably warm while surfing in 61-degree water over Thanksgiving. For warmer water, this will suffice.
I used to buy O'Neill because I knew I could trust their products. This is no longer the case. I bought two for each of my boys, and they're both fraying at the neck. My son's neck is always left with a black ring. On the other hand, the Velcro on the other had completely failed. Unless I find out that they have improved their quality, I will continue to look into other brands.
