The boots are incredible! These are fantastic boots, but keep in mind that the thick soles will take up more room in your fin pocket

That said, I love the quality and comfort of the 7mm, which I use for cold water Lake Michigan and early season diving, and the 5mm, which I recently purchased for inland summer lake shore diving. The 7mm was a little too floaty for me. However, if you use heavier fins, this should not be a problem. These are a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for with these. With either boot, I haven't had a single case of cold feet. I was able to get the 7mm to about 43 degrees. And then there's the 5mm, which has been reduced to 48. br>br>I usually wear a size 12 sneaker, but these boots were a good fit for me. The boots are incredible! However, keep an eye on how you fit in your pockets. br>br>These are paired with Mares Avanti Quattro Plus fins in size XL.
