The Elite version has a lateral zipper for easy accessibility in my opinion. From reading other listing, I don't think there's another key difference between it and the regular version
A mesh like this does not have a rigidity. It can also be rolled up if you plan to put mesh bag in another bag. It will lay flat in the bag. I think this is one of the best dive gear purchases I've ever If you dive from a boat, you will be able to pack all your dive gear. It has a separate sleeve for fins, or whatever you want them to fit in.
I liked the bag's size, and it has adjustable straps for back carry as well as a drawstring, zipper, and handle for easy access and carrying. There is a compartment with a zipper for masks, etc. I really like it, fits all my stuff and is very sturdy.
My opinion is that that bag is probably too big and heavy for that size and weight. I take about 1/3 of the bag up alone with my fins, snorkel, and face mask. My feeling is that the BCD would be a bit more than it is capable of
Selected User Reviews For Mares Cruise Mesh Backpack Deluxe
There have been many comments stating that this dive bag is large. The following reason and the following ones are why I returned the product. The length and the overall size of the garment seemed too large for my 5'4" frame. It is also noted by other female users that the front strap is inconveniently placed, with inadequate room to adjust it upward since it runs into some stitching on the shoulder straps when worn as a backpack. They do not joke when they say a child will fit in these clothes. It is shown in one of my photos with a bag of birdseed in the bag to give you an idea of how large the mesh is when folded. The mesh is a heavy-duty plastic that will take up a bit of space in a suitcase when folded up. In the event none of these are an issue for you, then you will likely find the bag to have some great features, such as its side zip that runs the length of the bag, the hefty handles, and the separate zip compartment in the front for some small As a result of the fact that the straps at the front cannot be adjusted, I gave it two stars.
I also purchased another Mares Cruise Duffle (something I will return since we never used I thought this was far superior to a duffle bag. There is also the rubber mesh which, in general, is more durable than fabric-only The bag holds a lot of stuff in addition to that! Among the items we can easily put in the bag are You can load your gear either from the side or the top of the mesh section, which has a nice long zipper Please note A set of fins and a set of nets - 2 sets of boots (two with hard bottoms, a little bigger than the other set. ) The following are the BDCs - There are two regulators*br - Quite a bit of extra space for towels, clothes, etc. Inside the inner pocket (zippers at the top and is very long (it stretches the Please note * * 2 snorkels (I liked this pocket because the snorkels remained somewhat protected when I had all the other bulky gear inside the pouch* * * In Please note There are two pairs of goggles in their plastic carry case
After carrying one set of gear in a duffle and two sets in this, the backpack style is so much more convenient! It disappears into the void on your back without you even realizing it's there. This bag is perfect for me! If you are going to the beach or doing any other activity where you would like the contents to have an opportunity to air out, this would be ideal. In addition to the drain holes in the main compartment and the outside pouch, there is also one in the bottom of the bag. I only wish there was another small pocket to accompany my keys or wallet, as it also rolls up to a very compact size. In the absence of the goggles, I wouldn't want to put my keys in the same pouch to prevent scratching the goggles, so it would be nice to have a small pouch for other small items, but this isn't a deal breaker.
". The drawstring seems to be the center of a lot of passion. With the friction lock solution, I got the same problem solved by purchasing better friction locks ($3 bucks, I believe). Intriguingly, this did not resolve the problem, so I sought help from Due to the fact that I wanted the top closed and was planning to go in mainly through the side zip, I then closed the friction lock and tied a bow knot in front of it. The slips are not allowed. On the rare occasions when I needed to open at that end, I undid This is high tech at its finest! The result was that I paid about $35 bucks (plus $3 more to get the friction lock) for a bag that, in most cases, costs double. My only complaint is that I haven't noticed it! That being said, I have a few constructive suggestions for It would be better if the handle on the side that allows you to carry it like a duffel when you don't want it on your back was placed down a little more. In its current form, it tends to get between my back and the pack when I have the shoulder straps on, and then I get a lump on It can be easily fixed by re-inserting the disk Put it in the right place and you're good to go. In the end, it wouldn't happen if it had been better planned out in the beginning. I don't think that there should be any points deducted for such a small error. A few PSs I paid full price for this bag darn it, so this is my rating.
Capable of storing the complete set of SCUBA gear for an adult male without difficulty. Several years ago, I bought this bag to take SCUBA diving in Mexico on Cozumel. There is a lot of space in the bag. This bag can (easily) fit a large wetsuit, fins, two sets of masks (in their plastic cases), snorkel, boots, and additional equipment (O-rings, bands, etc. Fasteners such as rings, latches, and fasteners), As my dive buddy and I contemplated consolidating our dive bags because this bag is so large, I almost suggested we do so. I am sure it would have room for a BCD and regulator on top of the items listed above, however those items were rented so I never had to deal with packing The backpack is designed to be easily carried, but it has a side zipper and side handles, so if you want to carry it like a duffle you can also do that. The mesh is built in such a way that it is very durable and durable because it's made out of a sturdy mesh. When researching this dive bag, I made sure to do my research carefully with my dive buddy, because we are planning a series of dives together. I recommend this bag highly since it is one of the best bags on the market at a very reasonable price. The following update was made on October 22, 2018 Many dives and years later, this product still stands up to the test of time. This bag has not given me a single problem. As well as the BCD and regulators, I manage to get a full set of equipment that is easy to pack in the bag. You wouldn't likely be able to pack 2 full sets of gear from fins to BCDs, but if you have extras like gloves, boots, and an extra mask with case (etc. ) you can definitely pack one full set of gear plus one or two extras. Despite some wear and tear, the zippers still work, the pull strings still function, and In my collection of dive equipment, it is probably one of the most interesting pieces.
