There is nothing I love better than The mask strap wrapper I replaced with the new one by ScubaPro was really something I was looking forward to. I just noticed that my new strap wrapper is designed so there is a strip of Velcro that runs the entire length of the top edge so you can completely open it up. It may not seem like a big deal, but the Velcro remains too far inward from the top edge, creating a rather shoddy appearance on the It is time to say goodbye to the tidy, clean It seems like they did this because some people had trouble getting their mask strap through the wrapper center. Obviously, this took a little time, but as soon as it was threaded through and the Velcro tabs were pressed together in the middle, the wrapper stood out beautifully and stayed secure. To protect your head strap when you snorkel or dive, you will absolutely need to purchase something to cover your mask's basic head strap. This is a Scuba Pro product, so I chose it because of its high quality. It looks as if the yellow has been stained as soon as the black gets wet. Despite the fact that the yellow cloth covering becomes almost transparent after rain, they still used it. I am extremely disappointed with this decision. As a result of two Velcro buttons in the middle of the cover, the strap of the mask is difficult to pass through. There would have been no need to use the additional Velcro tabs, as I believe it would have worked just fine without them. This one does not satisfy me.
I found that putting them on I had a little bit of difficulty if you aren't familiar with a new mask, but once attached they worked well. We were able to protect our hair from being pulled out by the scuba mask strap by wearing this. My recommendation for the item is strong. As my hair is 4 feet long, I had no trouble using it. To make wearing her mask much easier for my wife, I needed to add this. She has long hair, so it would be easier to use that rather than straps.
My only reason for only giving 4 stars is because I did not have much success with getting the goggle strap through the webbing. I love how it works.
Has no effect. As compared to the usual straps, this one is very light. Also does not stretch as much as Velcro, but looks like it will not hold even if it is held well. This is my first time using this setup, so I am getting used to it. However, I wouldn't want that to happen to my hair.
purchased the classic Scuba Pro Frameless mask (the original) and got this to go with it. It was easy to slip on and off, but not so easy that it came off when I didn't mean it to. You can't go wrong with one. It is very comfortable and effective.
