It's a real annoyance. You'll need to completely remove your mask strap before readjusting it to your preferred position. In contrast to the others I've tried, you simply open the velcro-covered cover, insert your mask strap, and close the velcro. This one does not appeal to me. searching for the other type, which is a shame because the ponytail concept is a great one.
Great concept/design, but it's a tad on the small side compared to my other mask strap covers. Because I have a large head and wear a men's mask, my strap is also of a manly size. Only the center of my strap is covered by this product; the sides are not. As a result, I continue to experience hair pulling on the sides. I'm guessing it's made for people with smaller heads and masks.
This worked out perfectly as a stand-in for the original. Your hair isn't yanked out like it would be with a traditional mask strap!.
It had the desired effect. Scuba.
When I took out my mask after my brilliant neoprene strap idea, I was disappointed. It was a good lesson.
The openings didn't line up, so it wasn't put to use.
This is a favorite of my ten-year-old daughter.
