$16. One fin strap costs $95 or $37 for a pair. It costs $95 for two fin straps. Why does buying two fins cost more per fin? It doesn't add up. It costs $34 if I purchase two "one strap" items. ?

I'm not sure how much they cost, but it's not worth it to buy them because they'll break again. Soon. Bungee straps are far superior.

Is it compatible with the Mares Avanti Pure open-heel fins?

Mares Avanti Pure Open Heel Fins will not be able to combat it.

Is this strap adjustable and will it fit a Mares Avanti Plus fin?

The length of the strap can be adjusted. The Avanti Plus fin is new to me, but it works with my Dacor Tiger Pivot fins. I hope this has been of assistance to you.

Will these work with the Decor fins?

Normally, no.

This item is for one person only, not two. However, this is a good product. To begin with, the manner in which this listing is presented is misleading. When I received mine, I was surprised to find only one strap in the box, despite the fact that it is listed as a "SET" and the description says "PAIR. " There are a couple of yes and no answers in the QA section about whether there are one or two straps, and one of the yeses came from a seller, so I went with that one, figuring that since they sell the product, they should know. I didn't ask them directly because I needed one for a trip right away and didn't have time to wait for an email response to order them. I reasoned that if they came in a pair, I could keep one as a backup dive kit. After I returned home and contacted the seller, they stated that they were working with the manufacturer to change the listing, but that I had only received one. br>br>Now, as for the device itself, it performs admirably and snaps into place with ease. The strap is different from my previous ones in that instead of a slide switch in the middle of the buckle to lock it in place, these have a top and button tab to push. These are actually my favorites; however, if any sand got into the mechanism, the slide could be a pain at times. Overall, the strap is a good replacement and works well; my only complaint is that I thought I was getting a pair when I wasn't. I could have gone directly to a few dive supply websites and gotten them for $8 or more cheaper, with free shipping on occasion, so I could have gotten two pairs for a couple bucks more. As a result, I've given it a five-star rating.

Dacor TurboFlex SP Fins are compatible with Mares Straps and Buckles

I took a chance and bought this item to replace the straps and buckles on my Dacor TurboFlex SP fins, which are 17 years old. According to comments, Mares' acquisition of Dacor did not affect the connections in any significant way. I received the product, and it was flawless. The new buckles outperform the original Dacor buckles by a wide margin. Bravo.

I was afraid they wouldn't fit, but they did! I loved my fins and was relieved that after 34 years, I didn't have to buy a new pair! Outstanding craftsmanship!.
