A caravan has a hard bottom and a big, heavy roller. Cordura is used for the porter, but it is a softer Cordura, so you can fold it up such that it is still as durable as the top of the bag
This is not the case. Roller bags like this are quite rare today. Ideally, you should aim to roll with your truck when it's fully loaded with gear.
There is no problem with the bag, it meets airline regulations. On an international flight, it served me well. My gear fits in it, and I still have plenty of room left over. The only problem I have with the bag is that it is If you pack all your gear, then the weight will be close to 50 pounds when all is said and done. A lighter item would be more appealing to me. If you go on a road trip, this would be the ideal bag to have. For airlines, I recommend it, but not for the general public.
It's Miami, baby! A quick flight over to Belize, then on to San Pedro Island, then back home), so I packed my BCD, fins, and some other items for a weekend adventure in Belize and San Pedro. 7/10 is what I would rate. If I were to check my regulator inside this bag onto an airplane, I would not do so.

It stands up straight and does not There are a lot of different bags that I've tried to find one that's not too large for my gear, but not too small either. I can use this dive bag to carry all my gear for warm or cold water diving, with some space left over. I agree that I do not believe this would fit two people's gear on it as it stands on its side with gear on it. I find that it will be tough to travel with two people's gear on it at an airport. You would need to be a very very master packer if that was the case. The bag is wonderful, what a relief after searching for so long for such a quality bag.
The luggage handlers are unable to handle airplane luggage. The rods on the side of the bag that gave it shape have already poked through ripped fabric in the bag after I only used it a few times. It's an extremely disappointing travel bag that is not reliable given its price. I would not recommend it.
My husband and I purchased this and took it to Belize. It is a very well-built and sturdy bag. In addition, the zipper is hefty and there are extra straps that the user can buckle over the case for even more If possible, I would prefer some pockets on the inside of the bag for other items, as they would be more secure than those on the outside that are easily accessible. The bag is good.
The main zipper of this bag has already started to pull apart after only one use. This is not a cheap bag, and I expected it to be of the highest.
My dive group owns several of these bags and we are very pleased with their quality. If you are traveling, you will have more than enough room to carry all your equipment and personal items. When I'm on a dive trip, this is the only bag I take. The bag fits neatly under the seats of a boat and fits the dimensions for checked luggage specified by airlines. Anyone who dives recreationally should check it out.
My girlfriend and I were going to travel to Australia for a dive. I purchased this while I was shopping. On our trip to the Great Barrier Reef, we planned to spend three nights on a live-aboard ship. In this bag, there is room for both my girlfriend and myself, so we have everything we need, and we can still put our clothes in it. As I mentioned before, the entire gear would still most likely fit if we brought it in. A bag of this size will easily fit two complete sets of gear.
The dive bag is roomy and convenient for travel. I was able to bring in all my gear and still stay under my airline's.
Our dive trip to Komodo Island in Indonesia is several weeks away but I'm looking forward to using this product.
