This piece of equipment was purchased for swimming laps early in the morning in a shaded pool without heating. My guess is that the pool is quite cold, but I am not sure. I gradually got accustomed to the environment in about 10 minutes. Once that was done, it was all right. A few more 1's have been added. My shorts were 5 mm neoprene the next day, and it really helped. When I got the XL, it fit nicely and I was able to wear it for regular clothing in cold weather. It was initially a size M, but I decided to get the L so it would fit snugly even after swimming. My only regret is not having done this sooner. Unlike many fish that flop around when swimming, this one sticks firmly to the surface. My only concern is that I be comfortable when I stand up in shallow water to rest between sets. Suitable for all kinds of movement and fits well. As soon as it is dry, it becomes super snug, but it doesn't beggar you.
