I normally wear a medium top (34B, 29" waist, broad shoulders), but had to go up to large for this top. I found the medium to be extremely tight, especially under the arm. With the large, it was much more comfortable to wear, and it was just tight enough without To reduce rug burn, I was looking for a compression fit to reduce pain associated with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (a form of wrestling). You may want to go up two sizes if you prefer a semi-loose to loose fit.
