In my experience diving, I have had to provide air to hundreds of divers over the years, so I know the importance of having an octopus that can work Poseidon regulators that work in both directions were the only ones I knew about before. I was so happy to find that it works the same way as that one. You can appreciate that it uses the same second stage parts as conventional regulators, it's just a different case shape. If you work with regulators, you can see that it's much easier to find parts and service. It's important that the mouthpiece and exhaust valve are on the same plane, so it can be put in your mouth either way, and you will not gain a mouthful of water if you put it in upside down.
The safety second on which I am diving has seven dives. I have been testing it at 30 feet and it has worked great. Sometimes, I will switch back and forth between my primary and safety second just to make sure they work. In spite of the scorching sun and harsh conditions at the beach, breathing is easy. As a result of using this reg there are no free flows from my system.
I love the quality of Aqua Lung. It's great that you can use this octopus top or bottom up, and you won't have to worry about flipping it around for your buddy when they need The food may be eaten within a few minutes if I am in a hurry.
I have tested the mouthpiece several times and it works every time. It is the clip that is supplied with it that is causing me problems. I do not recommend it. It is a very cheaply built clip, and the second stage constantly comes loose while diving. The clip I bought since has a better retention.
I am satisfied with the price and the product has been delivered on time and is working well.

My first reason for liking the AquaLung Octopus was how low-profile it was (it stayed very close to the chest and didn't get in the way) yet the device breathed like a higher quality (bulkier) There is a good reputation for the brand In addition, there are some points in favor of that aspect My buddy always asks me how it breathes every time I use it with him or her. Every time, I get the same feedback I am satisfied. The fact that they had used up every last drop of air in the tank left them with no choice. Although it doesn't seem to be problematic and I've used it in water temperatures as low as 30 degrees without having any freezing up issues. It's small, simple, reliable, a good quality brand, and it's reasonably priced.
