Dear Mr. Miller, Thank you for reaching out to me! An Aeris computer is capable of connecting directly to the transmitter. I would like to thank you for your kind words. I am pleased with how well my Oceanic1 dive computer paired with it.
My order for an AquaLung transmitter had already been placed. Please read! This item was not purchased through Amazon, but rather was obtained at a local dive shop after I did not receive my AquaLung transmitter. It works very well with the Oceanic dive computers which have now been transferred to AquaLung. A transmitter from AquaLung was ordered to go with my i450 dive computer, but due to a geographical issue, they were unable to deliver it. They promptly refunded me. I instead went to my local dive shop and asked about the Oceanic transmitter, rather than trying to order one directly from AquaLung. Initially, the staff was uncertain if it was compatible, but anyone familiar with the SCUBA business knows AquaLung has taken over Oceanic's computers and has created She showed up at the shop with her gear packed in her car, so I had no problems reaching her. It took only a few minutes to program the transmitter so my computer could recognize it. It's definitely worth spending the money on a wrist watch diver computer and transmitter for those who want their gear to be as efficient as possible. Great product for logging your dives and capturing data before, during, and after your dive. It can be plugged into either your PC or MAC and will record information from your dives.
