My personal opinion is that simpler snorkels are better for more advanced divers, because they do not have splash guards or purges, which is helpful for deep diving when you want to stay streamlined. It would be best to get a product that has more features if you're a beginner. When I know I'm going to be swimming at the surface a lot and not going to go deep into the water, or if the water is rough, I use a different snorkel, even though I have a Corsica for deeper free diving.
The snorkeling experience doesn't get much more basic than this. When I am in the water, it sticks a bit above my head about three inches. With a mouthpiece attached to the tube, it's simple and easy to use. Based on my knowledge of the device, I believe it was designed for SCUBA divers to use as a back-up
You can use the clip for this purpose. Similarly, the clip slides up and down the tube so you can adjust it to a certain degree. Flexible tubes are easier to attach to and remove from a mask, because they are easier to fit. Please keep in mind that this is not a wet or semi-dry area The snorkel should not be wet.
In my 77th year, I am an old man. Utilize my snorkel and go for a swim The fins are used in a pool to perform aerobic exercises. I like to swim. I live five miles away. There is nothing fancy about the Cressi. It is a simple snorkel, as simple as they come. You fill it up with water if you go under the water with it. Once you come to the surface, you need to blow it away. It is an elegant and simple piece of engineering, although it is simple. There are classic like the Cressi, semi-classical like the Cressi, and new innovations like the JD Fully dry (valves at the mouth and top when submerged) and dry (fills from the top when submerged). I believe the Cressi has a small mouth piece based on what I see in detail. Perhaps it will take some time for you to adjust.

Recently, I took this snorkel on a week-long vacation to St. Maarten and used it almost every day of my stay. The fact that it can be rolled up and stowed in a pocket when not in use is appealing. As well as the comfort of the mouthpiece, I like how soft it is. My gums and teeth were not upset by the ridges in the water, and I felt very comfortable even after spending more than an hour in it. Neither a drain valve nor a cap is unnecessary. The snorkel can be rinsed by blowing as forcefully as you can into it, and water flows from It's that simple.
Keep the clip in its original location if you want. It's a great snorkel for freediving and spearfishing. Keep the clip in its original location if you want. You won't find any vents or closures that will fail or hold air.
It is flexible, low profile, and has no shortcomings. Despite this, in 4 In the course of five freedive drops, I lost this snorkel twice, but I managed to pick it up when I ascended. Rather than using a regular mask, I clipped it After I returned to the boat, I scrubbed a little bit of the bottom, and then went to get back on to find that it had disappeared The dive site was located about 50' below the surface after a few more dives. A deeper site or over the blue water would have been gone for sure if I had been there. In the Westcoast SH, the snorkel comes with a standard "8" shaped keeper--this is a very similar snorkel to the one sold by Westcoast SH-- I have it on my laptop at the moment.
My reason for purchasing was simply that I wanted all of my gear to be Cressi, with that statement being said, the design of the retention clip is what hurts it the most. In my experience, the clip fails to work. I lost it once and had to retrieve it from depth and lost it a second time to lose it forever. Depending on if you are snorkeling all the time, it might work for you, but if you are free diving, you maybe out of luck.
You can buy it cheaply, it is lightweight, and it is easy to use. The length is perfect for me. I also use a Cressi Alpha Ultra Dry while going to the ocean. When I have still water, I like this. You can twist this like a pretzel so it's easy to pack and it weighs a lot less than It doesn't have any tiny holes or stoppers to clog or obstruct the flow.
I have always used a non-toxic cleaner Purge valve snorkels are very useful, and this one works good. Cressi) where basically solid, smooth tubes. We certainly would appreciate it if you could let us know. A few extras have been purchased. The best thing about it is that it's affordable and it's available almost anywhere, so I won't be sad if I lose it.
This was purchased for freediving. The material is soft, but not so soft that it is prone to flopping over. A comfortable retainer which holds up well in the mouth and saves you money at the same time. I'm not a fan of the clip still retainer, as several other reviewers have expressed complaint about, so I bought an "8" style retainer for a much lower price.
Snorkeling with this may not be as easy as it seems even if it were semi-dry The snorkel tube fills with water when you dive. After you surface, you have to blow the water out of your ears. I think its design is very good for what it is. There is a need to be cautious around It may be better suited to younger children and those with smaller faces.
A flexible curved tube is all it takes it has If it hits an obstacle, the tube will bend because it is not rigid. It's not possible to make a mistake. Don't think about it too much, just use it.
