It's made of oil. I don't have to clean because I only use a glove to apply a light accent here and there, but if you're using a brush, mineral spirits or turpentine will do the trick. It's a thick, pasty substance that's neither liquid nor dry.
Yes. It's not an issue.
Gold comes in three different hues. Empire is a bright color, King is a gentle color, and Renaissance is a rich antique gold color. You can see better pictures on my website, but I'm not aware of any that show them next to each other.
I'm sorry, but I'm unable to respond to your question regarding I like the look of the product on the walls, but I would avoid ordering from this vendor. When I ordered one wax from this vendor, the glass jar was broken and it was only packaged in a bubble wrap bag. My complaint and refund request were not responded to by either the vendor or Amazon.

This was purchased to add some color to the plaster rose accents in my 110-year-old house. year- It turned out great in an old house. Please stop me before I guild my entire house!.
Fingers were used to apply it. It's simple and forgivable if you make a mistake. The color is a rich dark silver. I'll buy it in a variety of colors again.
The seller, in particular, is fantastic. My order was packaged as if it were a gift and arrived quickly; the Amazon system is clearly designed to discourage people from purchasing from sellers who do not ship through Amazon. Not only did the Amazon system reject my debit card (despite the fact that all of the information was correct and there were plenty of funds), but they also rejected my credit card as a viable alternative. As a marketplace, Amazon is becoming less and less appealing to me. They don't treat sellers fairly and decide it's acceptable to compete unfairly with them. But, in comparison to Amazon, these sellers (particularly this Painte Shoppe) are far superior. A high-quality company that sells high-quality goods. I've purchased other gilding waxes from them, and it's an excellent wax. It goes a long way, applies smoothly, has a lovely appearance, and cures quickly. Amazon is the only source of disappointment. However, I can't say that I blame these sellers for selling on Amazon. So much for the government's efforts to dismantle monopolies.
The only problem I've had is with the gold transferring to a non-gold object. I couldn't get the transfer out of the gilded frame because I noticed it while transporting them. It's probably my fault, but be careful if the object is going to come into contact with something else after it's been gilded! It does have a slight odor, so be cautious if you have a sensitive nose lol The King Gold IS a GORGEOUS GOLD! If you're on the fence about getting it, go ahead and get it; once you do, you'll want to Gild EVERYTHING!.
54 I expected a full bottle of product, but when I received it today, it appeared to have been used.
This is fantastic! A small amount goes a long way when it comes to adding a silvery sheen. It has a strong solvent smell, so using your bare hands to apply it is probably not a good idea, but I did it anyway. It looked fantastic over both chalk paint and brass. Over the paint, a water-based sealant was used to seal it. Because it appears to be oil soluble, it is rubbing off of the drawer pulls as a result of hand oils. On the pulls, a top coat of clear lacquer would have been a good idea. Overall, this small pot will last a long time and turn everything silver. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's well worth it.
This gliding wax is absolutely stunning! This seller's shipping, customer service, and friendliness are all fantastic. of excellent quality Thank you for making my shopping experience with you one-of-a-kind and memorable. Thank you for paying attention to the smallest of details in the packaging. a present certificate.
This is fantastic! Raised outlines require only a small amount of material. Everything appears to be in far better condition. The King Gold is a stunning piece of jewelry. There didn't seem to be much of a odor to me. I used gloves, but make sure they fit snugly around the finger tips you'll be using so that any excess wax doesn't end up in the wrong places. It's a smallish jar, but you only need a small amount to make antiques and old frames look good again, so it lasts a long time.
