Questions & Answers

College student just looking for a board to get around. Is it smooth to ride, do these parts need to be replaced, and how fast does it go?

There are many good things about this board- My opinion is that you should step outside the box! This thing still flies on flat or slightly declining surfaces, even though the bearings don't spin forever. To ensure more stability, you may want to choose the larger version of this board if you aren't an experienced rider. Regardless of the size, it is small enough to be really useful for learning how to board. This deck and trucks are really durable, and the wheels are actually very soft and soft enough for rocks and bumps to absorb. As such, you might want to replace the bearings, but it would be best if you rode the bike a few times first. For my own "final mile" transportation needs, I've kept mine stock and it's perfect for cruising crowded streets and sidewalks.

How much room does it take up in your backpack?

The size of your backpack will determine how much space you need. While it does not fit into the small Patagonia backpack, it does fit into my more spacious LL Bean

When it comes to shoes size 6, I am 5'2 and have a shoe size 6. Should I get the 22" or 27"?

Due to their compact size, these boards are ideal for people who have smaller sizes. I have a 22" penny board that is this size as well as a size 9 as a 24 year old. My 5-in-1 shoes have taken me around the world and I have even ridden the streets in them. Unlike a long board, it has a smooth ride but is compact so it can easily be brought on a plane. You should be able to cruise just fine no matter the size, it's made for a comfortable ride

I'm super pleased! During my young adult years, I needed a way to commute between public transportation and my home
5/5

Even though I never owned a skateboard, I always dreamed of getting on I was not expecting this to be as good as it was. I like this scooter because it is super light, really sturdy, quite smooth and doesn't have too many bumps due to the rubbery wheels, and it isn't too expensive (so you don't get hurt very often). It will only take about a week for me to learn to ride with this baby. It is possible to have only one As a result of the damaged box during shipping, there are some scratches on the box. The fate of skateboards is to be scratched. What the heck. However, the board is wrapped in plastic (a bit to well, since the plastic does not go under the trucks and the wheels are not wrapped).

The perfect board for cruising on A penny board is something that I bought to use at the beach and to walk my dog with
5/5

As an aside, I think it is a far better value than the name brand penny board because it gives the same value for a much lower price. I also love the bright color. There are no loose bearings or excessively loose bearings on the board they can be tightened if needed. The board rides very smoothly, just watch out for those rocks, or else you'll go flying off the board. It is very difficult to remove the plastic wrap around the bearings, which is the only thing I did not like about it. It is an excellent board for anyone wanting a penny board for the beach or for walking on the sidewalk as a beginner penny board. The pros include * Plus, it has bright colors and it is smooth to ride on. * + the bearings are not too loose and can be tightened up there. *+ It is a tremendous value for the money. I am - It takes a lot of effort to remove the material around bearings*br It is very easy to get dirty when wearing bright colors.

Before we begin, let me share a few details I am 205 pounds, wear a size 12 shoe, a skateboarder (12 years on/off) and snowboarder (21 seasons) so very comfortable on a board. THIS IS IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE LEARNING TO RIDE A BOARD. It is recommended that you practice on a board with a wider wheel base if this is the case for you. When you gain a better sense of balance and skill, you can return to this (just my opinion, don't panic). *This review is for "penny" boards and mini cruisers that are typically sold for less than $10 In the deck I find this to be a great value for the price it has some flex but not too much, and feels strong and solid. -Trucks and Bushes This product does exactly what is needed, the metal appears to be solid and reliable. To loosen my trucks, I loosened them by about 1 &apos It takes about half a rotation to two complete rotations on the nut to carve the board The bearings are On the shields, they have abec-7 stamped on them, and they spin fine. While they aren't as good as the higher quality you can buy separately, I don't anticipate replacing After riding down fresh asphalt at about a 10% grade, I was so hot that I had to drag my foot in order to keep The wheels are These wheels feel soft when cruising over rougher concrete, but I like the bearings, they're not better than the ones you'll find on wheels that cost more than the board. I will not be replacing them because they're perfect for my application. As you can see, there is one area of improvement that I could make A wheel that won't spin freely or is "stuck" is probably not a result of bearing quality. This is due to two factors '1) the nuts may be too tight when you get it loosen up one or two little threads. Quite a bit, actually. When the nuts are tightened to the point that they contact the spacers and bearings, the wheel will in fact have some play in it. As a result, you won't want to loosen the wheel nuts too much so that the wheels can spin without excessive drag/friction caused by a too tight nut. The following is a translation of the original English. In this case, speed wobble at higher speeds is an issue. In my work, I make boards/bikes/funky wheels and this could be a major issue on a vehicle with higher speed capability. But since it is a skateboard, specifically a little one, it does not pose a problem. There is no real problem with this. The board rides smooth and maneuverable, and it is easy to catch cracks and step off curbs with ease. As long as the company can get trucks with a longer pin/axle shank to prevent this, this board would be perfect. The company won't need to buy any extra parts for the It is an amazing feeling to get $22 for such a small price. It is a 19 purchase and will be tearing up the bike lanes of NYC on this beast!.

This is a piece of trash
3/5

In a nutshell, The product is not a good buy. As the thing is a piece of garbage, it is a waste of money. The wheels have already broken and some of the wheels are harder to turn since I've only used it three or four times. In addition, the screws on the trunk are beginning to rust even though all I actually did was wash the board to keep dirt away. The cost of this is just too high, buy something better.

It would be better if some adjustments were made
4/5

After some adjustments, it's a very usable board. A few things you should know the board comes preassembled when it arrives. Although the deck itself is covered in plastic and has trucks attached over it, the deck itself is covered in plastic. While this makes pulling all the plastic off for a clean look somewhat frustrating, it does make for a neater look in the end. My first impression was that the wheels were screwed on way too tightly upon opening. It's important to note that if the nut that holds the wheel onto the axel of the truck is too tight, the wheel will be difficult to spin. The wheel does not rotate at all, which may be why you've seen reviews stating that it does not. The wheel spins much better now that I have loosened the nuts on every wheel. Despite keeping the wheels loose, the board does not spin fast enough for a cruiser board. There is no doubt buying some "Bones Red" bearings along with this board will enhance its performance. In addition to the board being flexible, its plastic is durable. A grip tape is also not present on the top of the board. Plastic, but I do not feel like I am slipping off of it. Steel trucks(some call them pegs) are used in the process of building the pegs. Getting the job done is very important to me, and I am pleased with their work. The penny skateboards I believe have trucks that allow for better carving than the other style of skateboard. It is still easy to maneuver around people when skating on these, and you can still maneuver around obstacles. I have used this board almost daily to get around my college, despite the fact that it is small and reasonably heavy.

Overall after making some adjustments I am very satisfied with this board. I like the ride because it has speed and smoothness but I wish the wheels were a bit softer because there have been points where I feel like I should be able to ride over bigger cracks in the pavement, For the price, this is still a good purchase.
