When it says k5, why is the picture of the truck a traditional krux? The k5 has an inverted kingpin. ?

This is the version that isn't based on DLK.

Is it possible for you to turn the kingpin?

The one that comes with it is anchored in place (though it will come out if you hit it hard enough) and has a rounded head, so no, but a Downlow Kingpin kit is available separately.
