I'd go with 44 if it were up to me.
No, a drop through truck does not exist; only longboard trucks do. It can be applied to any situation.

Otherwise, flip your hanger because the blemish is due to the casting and has no bearing on performance. My set has the same blemish in the bushing seat as two other people's sets, which is most likely due to the casting process. There hasn't been any noticeable difference in performance. If it bothers you, you can flip the hanger; there will be no rake, and the performance will be the same. The following is my only criticism: It would be great if the distributor included some packing foam to protect the trucks' surfaces from scratches and nicks. I'm a big fan of function over form, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who don't agree with me. In general, I'm happy with the results. I find these to be more stable than my 47deg Gullwing Reverses without sacrificing too much turning radius. In comparison to the Gullwings, the Calibers have a more restricted bushing seat, and the learn/turn feels more predictable. According to what I've read, the lack of rake is to blame for the predictability. My purchase has satisfied me.
I'm 5'10" and weigh 150 pounds. I did order some extra bushings to experiment with different setups, but the stockers have worked out well so far. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>It's perfect for use with venom bushings. Barrels are available in two colors: BS red and RS purple. At 25 mph, there are no swaying or wobbling.
Caliper Trucks (drop through trucks) were my first purchase for my 40-inch longboard. I've had nothing but positive experiences with these trucks, and I recently purchased them for a 37-inch longboard (also drop through trucks). When installed properly, they're fantastic and well worth the money; I'd recommend getting the ones with the bones red bearings, as those are probably the best bearings for the money (approximately $15 separately). I've had no problems with tight turns, and the trucks are stiff enough that my longboard doesn't wobble even when traveling at 20 miles per hour.
These are without a doubt the most dangerous trucks I've ever bought. I bought these for a new longboard and noticed right away that something wasn't quite right. They became loose and wobbly as time went on. Last night, my boyfriend tightened them and put them to the test on the street. He lost control and shattered his femur almost immediately when they came loose. I'm in complete shock. We're going to have to spend all of our savings on this garbage product. PURCHASE IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
However, it is quite loud. So far, I've been extremely pleased. When I stood on the board, tuning in place and testing the turn, they made a popping noise. It didn't happen while I was on the bike. In tight turns, the kingpin's top washer also scratches the truck. Trucks that don't have this feature are hard to come by. For a few dollars, you can always substitute a smaller piece. br> These trucks are fantastic, and they're extra wide for some of your larger boards. Upgrade your bearings to an abec 11 if you want to improve your balance in turns on your downhill board. With these trucks, any board can go insanely fast.
I love the color (coral) and how comfortable they are. I haven't yet bombed any massive hills, but they feel extremely stable at 30 mph. When I'm cruising straight in a speed stance, I'm as carvy as they come, but I'm also rock solid. There will be no squirreling! GET YOUR HANDS ON SOME OF THESE!.
This truck is fantastic in every way. For downhill and sliding, I use them on a loaded tesseract. The only gripe I have is that they arrived with some cosmetic flaws. I don't mind the blemishes because they don't affect performance, and I didn't buy them for their appearance, though they are attractive. Bushings from the factory worked fine. They shone when the bushings were replaced with venom bushings.
The ride is smooth and the turns are tight. Perfect. I used one on the front of a Blitzarrt electric board and it made a huge difference. A clumsy junker was transformed into a master carver. The accuracy of these trucks is incredible. Turning power is derived from even the tiniest of movements. It is strongly advised. At high speeds, it's fantastic, and it's also very stable.
