BIG BALLS, our newest REDS family member. BIG BALLS are engineered to roll faster and last longer than 6, 17% larger balls, such as our legendary Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings.
These larger balls allow you to roll faster while also allowing you to continue rolling through dirt that slows down smaller balls.
8 bearings, instructions, and a sticker are included in the package.
Higher top speed, greater strength, longer life, simple cleaning, and light weight are all advantages.
The design is Skate Rated.

Not Swiss 6, but super slow
3/5

These bearings don't compare to my Swiss 6 bearings in terms of performance. When you spin the bearing, it starts spinning fast, then the balls shutter and the bearing slows down. When skating and doing free spin tests, they felt noticeably slower than Swiss 6, Bronson G3, Bronson Raw, Spaceballs, Oldboy chromes, and Ceramics. These did not go over well. I cleaned them with Acetone and tried a variety of lubricants, but none of them improved the bearing's performance. These have a lot of play and are poorly machined. They're comparable to the abec-3 bearings that came with my longboard, and I'd recommend Bronson G3 or Raw over Swiss 6 for the money. Bronson G3s set the world speed record for skateboarding. If you want Swiss-made bearings but don't want to support Chinese labor practices, Swiss 6 is the way to go.

I've had my eye on a set of these low friction Bones Reds Big Balls for a while now, and they're insanely fast
5/5

Instead of the original seven steel bearings, these have six slightly larger ones. The design is well-balanced, and the bearings are smoother and faster because they are evenly spaced and have a deeper race. Furthermore, the price is the LOWEST that anyone could offer on the internet. Try a set of these, which cost less than $20 USD and come with free shipping. Once you've tried them, you might find that they're the only bearings you'll ever need.

I have super swiss 6 bones bearings and these come very close to them in terms of performance for half the price
5/5

In motion, there isn't much of a difference. Obviously, because these are made in China, they will degrade faster, but for the time being, I'll save $30 and use these instead of the Swiss 6 for all boards I set up.

For the money, these bearings are the best skate rated bearings
5/5

I've been skating for almost 30 years and now use Bones Big Balls on all of my push boards because they are less likely to fail than other bearings. For the money, these are excellent bearings; they are not Swiss, but you pay more for those. These bearings are far superior to Bronson G3 bearings in terms of speed and quality. When you install these in your wheels, apply two drops of speed cream and ride your board for about 14 miles to set the bearings. Your board's speed will improve and the bearings will last for years. To keep the lube in the race, I install a dust seal on both the inside and outside of the bearing, then remove the inside seal, clean it, and reinstall it. You can lubricate the bearing at any time. These skate-rated bearings are not suitable for Eboards, in my opinion. My MetroBoard Eboard generates too much heat for a skate-rated bearing, so speed-rated bearings should be used in Eboard wheels.

Even if they're brand new, they need to be lubed
5/5

After discovering the magic of Bones Super Swiss 6, I decided to purchase these. Initially, I was dissatisfied and considered returning them. They were smooth, but lacked the speed and range of the Swiss 6 (in fact, they felt worse than the original REDS). Despite the fact that they were already lubed, I decided to add some Speed Cream to them. Maybe they sat on a shelf for a while and the majority of the liquid evaporated? But it was the deciding factor! They can't quite match the Swiss 6, but they're noticeably smoother and faster than the original REDS.

Bearings of exceptional quality! I was looking for replacement bearings for my Penny Nickel Board and came across these on the Bones Bearings website, so I went to Amazon to see if they were still available
5/5

These were fortunately available, so I decided to give them a try. My Penny Nickel Board is now much smoother and faster to ride. To keep moving, I only have to kick my board a few times. These are excellent bearings!.

Reds are better than reds, and super reds are even better
5/5

I skated for ten years, then stopped for ten years before returning six months ago at the age of 36. These are the only bearings I'm going to buy right now. You can go a lot further with less effort; they don't spin as long as reds if you just spin the wheel with your hand, but they go a lot further when you put your weight on them. I'm 230 pounds and enjoy manual bombing hills; with these bearings, a 1,000 yard (roughly 3/4 mile) manual isn't uncommon. They're mounted on 52mm spitfire formula 4s 99a wheels as well as 54mm ricta clouds 94a wheels. These bearings should be purchased. Reds, super reds, and bones swiss are all inferior to them. I've never skated with Swiss ceramics or bone race bearings.

My Reds are nearly as quick as you are
5/5

I'm not sure yet, because in the bigger balls, longevity is the most important factor. They aren not any faster than the 8 sets of BONES REDS in the rest of my boards, but they aren not any slower than the 8 sets of BONES REDS in the rest.
