From a safety standpoint, it could be used for skiing, even though it's designed for summer sports. If you intend to use it for skiing in the winter, a balaclava should be worn underneath the helmet. If you're looking for a ski helmet, I recommend searching on Amazon for "TurboSke ski helmet," as we have a few different models.

It's suitable for people of all ages, but you should measure your son's head circumference to determine which size, S/M or L/XL, is appropriate. According to my experience, the L/XL size is best for 14 and 15 year old boys.
The extra foam pads are extra pads to fine-tune the helmet's size; their thickness differs from the pre-installed pads. the installation If the helmet is too loose or too tight, you can replace the pads with the extra pads provided, and the helmet will most likely fit you better.

When I got a call from them, I was completely taken aback. That's some personalized service! They genuinely cared about my experience and wanted me to understand how their sizing system works. I ordered the wrong size, but I was concerned that the small would be too small, so they assisted me in understanding how the adjustable dial works. I ordered a small and it turned out to be the perfect fit for my son! He adores the helmet and thinks it suits him well. It makes me happy to know that my son is wearing high-quality, long-lasting protection from a company that values its customers. br>br>My 12-year-old son couldn't wear the helmet I ordered because it was too big. It would be preferable if this was available in sizes s, m, l, and xl. This is because I am the only one who can do this. Because there are two sizes, finding a good fit is more difficult. The helmet itself appears to be well-made and safe.
This helmy was purchased for my noggy, and I couldn't be happier with it! A pothole recently yeeted me off my longboard at 30 mph, but I was unharmed! TurboSke, you did an excellent job. You managed to keep my mind intact!.
This is an excellent helmet. On the playground at our school, there are both balance bikes and bicycles. My twins are on the verge of being five years old. With colossal hunks of meat on their heads. I took my kids to a big box store just to see what was available, and they needed an 8-inch by 8-inch by 8-inch by 8-inch by 8-inch by 8-inch by 8- Helmet for children aged 13 years. So, does it come in a small size? Are my children's heads enormous? Yes, perhaps on both counts. However, it is well-secured, and they like the fit. Several falls while ice skating, as well as numerous falls on the playground. They don't have to worry about their noggins. If only a chip could be placed near their ear to force them to pay attention:.
I bought this for my 10-year-old daughter, who is still learning to skateboard and has wiped out quite a few times doing "drop-ins. " ins" at the skatepark, and the helmet did its job by keeping her head safe. My daughter enjoys wearing the helmet because it is lightweight and has plenty of padding inside. For her, the fit is ideal. She doesn't get too hot because of the airflow holes on the top. This purchase was a good buy.
The circumference of my daughter's head is 21 inches. 5 and a S/M should fit according to the size chart. I ordered a S/M, but it won't even fit my younger child's 20" head. When compared to another helmet we own, this one appears to be much narrower and longer. Both children protested that it was correct. It's also difficult to adjust the straps; I wish I could go back.
This is a very nice helmet, and it fits my 11-year-old son perfectly. We had to open up the rear adjuster knob to the largest setting and it was perfect. I've had motorcycle helmets and football helmets, but I can't figure out how to adjust the chin strap on this one. I end up with the large loop shown in the image. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to get it right, and the chin isn't snug. I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent, but I'm at a loss here.
I have a large head, and the L/XL fits me well; the fit is even improved by a tightening knob (similar to that found on a hard hat). The only criticism is that it scratches too easily, but at $20, it's essentially disposable once it's been abused.
It has a staple-like quality to it. This helmet has a vibrant light blue aesthetic, so if you want to stand out (for style, but most importantly, for safety), this is the helmet for you. Apart from the inner cushion, it's very light. It's so thin on the inside that you can't tell it's on your head. Thank God, I've never been in an accident while riding, but I'm confident in this helmet if that should happen.
