It's for such occasions that breezers are useful. Padding IS exactly what they are. As far as I'm concerned, there is no problem with adding more padding.

It should have been a SMALL that I ordered instead of a MEDIUM. 5'6" and 160lbs with an athletic build, I have a built that fits my height and weight. I bought these so I could snowboard. I wear a 30 waist. In addition, like I said before, it runs large and thus the compression is not as extreme as I would like. Padding feels thick and comfortable. I'd say that it is about 3/4" thick on the padded parts. The material that it is made of appears to be of Only thing I don't like is that it feels like I'm wearing a big dirty diaper at times. Feels like I have it hanging off my buttocks. That could be due to the fact that it's larger than I had hoped. There is also a lot of padding on the sides so it is hard to feel safe if I fall forward. Considered for hip protection, but looks more like it's to protect your quads from impact. However, snowboarding does not result in quad injuries because you most likely fall on your hips or buttocks rather than your quads. Ideally, it should be stitched maybe an inch closer to the hip instead of forward, so that when I fall, I land directly on my hip rather than on the padding, which is kind of awkward. The Velcro that is used for the "zipper" is, by the way, made from polyester. My only concern is the lack of hip protection. I am certain it will do just fine if it falls on my butt.
Last year, I broke my tailbone on my first run while snowboarding and was in pain for several After wearing these padded shorts on a 3-day trip, I just returned home. Despite not knowing for sure if my falls this year would have resulted in the same type of injury as last year, I believe they protected me in the way they were intended to. I am 5'11" and normally wear medium pants and shorts (32" waist). Other reviews indicate they are smaller than the indicated size. It looks like I ordered medium in the shorts, and I am confident that they are the right size. Legs, hips, and butts fit nicely and the pads are not too I have deducted stars, however, from the rating due to the design of the waistline. To get the rest of the shorts to fit correctly, the waistline needs to be pulled up uncomfortably high--and this hurts the comfort of the shorts. My belly button lies just above the part of my body where I prefer not to wear Despite the waistline of these shorts being at least four inches above my underwear and snowboard pants, they are comfortable to wear. I just think there's an unnecessary amount of fabric building up the waistline above the point where the top of the shorts should.
wish I had ordered them in a small because they're a little larger than I would have preferred, and they tend to ride down while I wear them during The appear to be extremely durable and protect against falls and hits well. My hips and rear almost didn't feel the impacts when I fell, even though I had fallen a couple times since wearing these. I dislike the fact that they are a bit itchy around the waist and will irritate your skin if not layered over another item of clothing. It's not uncommon for me to wear leggings underneath Due to the low price and the good protection they provide, I would definitely buy these again.
It was amazing to see how well I handled the falls. People complained about how much their butts hurt, but I was perfectly fine. Even when sliding down icy hard snow areas, I was perfectly fine. My height is 6'2" and my weight is 210 pounds.
I buy everything my husband buys because he is a big guy all the way. He is 6'3'' and 215 pounds, so we bought an XL (he is 6'3'' and 215 lbs). We received them and they were enormous even with boxers and thermal layers I just returned the Large for him, so I went with a medium for me (5 ft 11in 125 lbs) and they're definitely huge, but I'd rather wear a layer under them than be smothered. Additionally, they do not have an adult small, so these were the only option for me
They seem like a solid short, and I will update this post once I get snowboarding for 3 weeks so I can let you know how they hold up.
I expected it to be worse then it turned out to be. My outfit included it over leggings and I found it The cushion pieces under the cushion are pretty warm, and I had wet spots under them on a fairly warm day. Furthermore, made it comfortable to sit on the snow, even when it is cold. Since I didn't fall too many times, I am not certain how much it helped with protection, but it's nice to know it's there " Just in case.
Comparatively to my previous snowboard coat, this one felt like a toy, not one that offered real protection against the elements, the fabric is thin, and the material is similar to stuffing or packing.
The snowboarder is intermediate in skill. Any new snowboarder who wants to learn more about the sport should watch this video. The price of this pad is not as high as that of Burton/Demon pads. The information is definitely sufficient for a beginner - The snowboarder is intermediate in skill. In order to protect the tail bone in the event that beginners fall down a lot on the snow ground, the butt pad is thick, comfortable, easy to move and protects the The pain you experience when you fall down is not real. *There is still a risk of falling on the metal reels/boxes, however, which makes this not good for Park/Freestyle players. It would be prudent to choose professional protections like Burton/Demon's D3O.
