Young kids grow so quickly and it seems like most helmets and pads are outrageously priced, so I was excited to see this set. My daughter was a rockstar, but took a tumble when we removed the training wheels from her bike. We're so glad we ordered them, and we tried them that day. It was fortunate that her elbow pads took the brunt of the impact and her head remained intact. From this mom, I give it a thumbs up! The mesh bag for the pads and the click-turn tightening system on the helmet are also nice features.

My son is 7 years old, so I bought it for him. The head of my son is average in size. Size 8 is what I got him 13 years old. Featuring a size 8-inch shoe He would fit better in a 13y than a 3y 8- I am extremely pleased with it I've been doing it for 13 years and have no problems with it. As you can see, I ordered blue and received pink. The pink and blue set I ordered was labeled incorrectly, so I'm hoping this is a mix up. It was expected to arrive today, but it arrived today instead, because the pink was scheduled to arrive. The pink one I received today won't happen again In terms of the product itself, it seems solid. I wish the helmet was padded in its interior a little more.

As a first-time user, I found this to be an awesome buy! The four sets I bought were all the same. I will buy 2 for each of my children, ages 4 and 5, and two for each of my nephews, The only reason I rated the sturdiness at 4 stars was the fact that one of the straps on the knee pads came undone as my 9 year old nephew was putting it Yet these kids look like they are beasts. I bought these for my nephew, who is nine years old and is quite thin, so they worked well and can likely last him two or three more years. An adjustable knob in the back of the helmet allows you to tighten or loosen it, and I thought that There would have been nicer colors like green, orange, yellow, and purple for these. Although I definitely want to give the kids the option of personalizing Happy shopping! I am glad I made this investment!.

I bought this helmet for my son to wear when One of the plastic pieces of the adjustable part snapped out of its hole after he had a hard fall and hit the back of the helmet on the ice. Up until then, the helmet worked fine, but now I can no longer wear it. Since he is very skinny, the pads are too big for my 4 yr old so sometimes they rub against his skin.
