I am a firm believer in the importance of a good shoe for everyone, especially children who are still developing. I was looking for something that was both high-quality and affordable for a child who would outgrow the shoe before getting his money's worth out of a higher-priced item. DC Shoes is a well-known brand, and these shoes were exactly what I needed. These have been on my friend's daughter's feet for nearly two months, and she adores them. Her mother told me that she loves how easily her daughter can put her shoes on and take them off by herself, and that she doesn't have to worry about her going to Pre-K with untied shoes during the day. They're also holding up well against child's play beatings, such as tripping or having a loose shoe rub her ankles. She can walk, run, and play without difficulty; the soles are of good quality, don't slip on wet surfaces like some cheaper soles do, and show no signs of wearing out anytime soon. This product is one that I would recommend.
My son is a one-size-fits-all kind of kid. Despite the fact that I am a size 5, a size 2 in this shoe is far too small. I ordered a size and a half larger (a 10) pair for my daughter. 5 (she usually wears a 9) and the fit is almost perfect, so it's not just that pair. Be wary of that; aside from that, it's a nice shoe.
