In the first week after buying a knock-off brand ripstick, it cracked and worked no more. Nonetheless, he had such a great time playing that he decided he wanted a better machine. I have found that he has a blast on this Ripstick (he is fourteen) and has had it for about a month now with hours and hours of street time and the bike is still in very good shape. Even the wheels haven't worn down much. Ripstiks are the way to go for him. He has tried skateboarding but prefers It is easier to balance on and to control with a little practice. The exercise is great for his health as well as for getting him off the couch, enabling him to track his time on his phys ed essay. I would definitely say yes to that The winner wins. You might have to pay a little more for this than replicas, but the superior quality is totally worth it.
We have now had it for four years and it has endured all the kids. Finally, my then 8, now 12 year old daughter still rides the board. A great toy for older kids, but not very appropriate for younger children.
As a gift, this was given to me. Due to previous experience with a friends board, the recipient was able to get up and running within a day. A week has only gone by, but he seems pleased with the product. He says it has been pretty durable so far. All aspects of the purchase matched the descriptions, the items arrived quickly, and they were well packaged. The instruction manual was not present, but it appears that one was not required. Purchasing this item has been a good experience for me.
I gave it to him as a present. It was a great ride for him and he loved everything about it. It was stolen by some kid, and he moved on to skateboards and other toys Bike racing & BMX But he always said it was the Ripstik board that gave him his start in riding boards & he still mentions it today. His movement and balance will be fluid as he develops.
This won't replace your skateboard, but it is fun! He said it was his favorite gift this year. I gave it to him as a Christmas present. Once you figure it out, it's really fun to play. But you need to work a little to get started. Product seems well built in general. Heavy duty casters, thick plastic deck, Although it is heavy, with a max weight capacity of 220 lbs, the board certainly isn't fragile. Having ridden it for several hours a day over the last couple of weeks, I can't speak for its durability in the long run, but the neighborhood kids (and adults) have been happy with it. As you learn, kicking with your foot while riding the RipStik is never a good idea because it is more like snowboarding than skateboarding. A video is included with the board that shows you how to handle it, how to turn, and how to generate power. I recommend you watch it because it shows you how to ride the board. The overall gift is my favorite gift that he got this year as well, and I will concur with my son.
After receiving the item on time, my daughter was able to master RipStik in just a matter of hours. I tried it myself, but I'm not made for it. I may be a better fit for something else. Although I think this is easier to use than a skateboard, that is just my personal For parents, it is not nearly as dangerous as it appears, just as long as they avoid the crazy stunts, though they ought to still take precautions. *br/*br/BTW, the color of my daughter's dress was not her original choice, but it was more inexpensive than the others. Fortunately, a different design from another site was purchased for 10 dollars in order to fix the situation.
My only complaint is the wheels, which wore out quickly after a few days of use (they were no longer able to be used). In my experience, the board's back wheels had much more wear than the front wheels due to the motion required to propel it forward and I recommend changing them periodically to even out Unless you are using it on the smoothest surfaces, do not use it on anything else as the replacement wheels can be.
My kids love RipStiks, and I don't know what to say other than that they find them absolutely hilarious. The first few times your kid rides it, it takes a little while for them to master it. But as long as they can focus for a short while, they'll be able to ride it all around In favor of the RipStik, scooters and bikes have taken a back seat. A benefit is that it really works a child's core. In fact, I didn't even think about it until I saw my 8 year old running around in a swimsuit without a shirt, and I jumped on his back. It was easy to see that it was.
