Questions & Answers

How does that peddle work? Is it just an on/off control or one you control with a speed?

The pedal did not reach me, and I was unable to comment on it in depth. To control the rotation of the handlebar, I used the I believe that the motor speed can be controlled, or is variable from 0 to 100%. In my opinion, if the pedal was only on/off, it would be dangerous and the setup would cost more money to use. Therefore, it appears that it cannot simply be turned on or off.

The motor in my car runs faster when in reverse than when it is in forward. Could you provide any suggestions as to how to resolve this?

Mounting the motor the wrong way is what you need to do. Turn it around so the rear is forward and the front is backward so you will be going faster forward than backward. You will also need to switch the wiring around in order

Do you think this holds up to a 250 lb person in terms of power and speed? What would it be like to go karting on a vintage machine?

Certainly, as long as you weigh 250 lbs or less, you can cruise at approximately 13 mph miles per hour.

The 48v (4 12v batteries in series) will need to be charged. Please let me know what would be the best way to charge the batteries?

The charger that came with it when I bought it is 48 volts. In order to use a 12v charger, you will need to disconnect the battery leads, so the batteries will no longer be in series - they will need to be in parallel or separate. To either or both of them it would be annoying If a 12-volt charger is to be used you can do two things 1) unplug them and charge each separately, or 2) switch the wires so they are in parallel and charge them together (and then swap them back to get them in series again to get 48v).

Despite some of the parts looking different, this kit has everything one needs to build a go kart. Some of the additions may not look as advertised, but they function the same way. To begin with, the motor is very large. In addition, I was given a plastic pedal rather than a metal one. In addition to the wiring harness, this is a very large amount of material. If you are designing a go kart or scooter, keep these points in mind To use this controller, you must connect the 3 motor wires to the 3 "ESC" wires*1. There must be an electrical outlet on each of the five hall wires. (Be sure that the wiring is correct because the current will vary if you keep the motor on the right or left side)*3. In order to use each control, the wires need to be plugged into their housing. (Note that Since it slides in, it doesn't need to be soldered)
4. A short circuit or plug must be used for the inverted gear, or it must be plugged into the forward, neutral, reverse stick. 5
To allow power to flow from the battery to the motor, either the power lock must be shorted out or a deadman switch must be installed. The sixth point. You must connect either the handle throttle or foot throttle wire to the wiring (both plug into the same wiring)*. 7. There are some wires that cannot be placed into the wiring harness because only female plugs can be plugged in, which means that a throttle and brake cannot be plugged in (in my case it didn't make much of a difference). I have eight. To run this motor, you need 48 volts, anything less and the motor will underperform, or cut out early while running. The ninth point.
