It is important that the wheel has a very large sprocket for the motor. If it does not, it starts slowly, but I used the motor on another project as well. I used a gear reduction motor and a controller to make my electric recumbent trike.

I like how it works

As with my razor pocket mod, I had to drill out my own holes, but otherwise it fits well. Gets up to speed quickly with the factory sprocket so I switched over from an 85 teeth to a 55 tooth and it's a nice balance between acceleration and speed. I had to replace the throttle pin with a 6 pin one, and the battery charger had been reverse polarized in the package.
