The wheels on these skates are too fast for my 9 year old- she loves the skates, but the wheels are too fast for her. I would not recommend this skate to a beginner or learner. I tried to slow the wheels down by tightening wheels, but it didn't work.

This skate is wonderful and the quality is outstanding however, I am an 8 in skating shoes and I can wear these just fine even in the lowest setting, where it should be a Even with my feet still in them, I can still walk The adjustable parts are not as flexible as they're stated to be.
