The cigarette smell was evident as soon as they were removed from the black red bag. They are being returned. I paid for a new pair of skates and they look great.
It is easy to learn them if you are four years old.
It would be nice to have a pair of skates this good for a beginner. I'll give you my three. I could not find any skates that fit my nephew's size 9 shoe, but these were the smallest Now they are a little big, but I hope he will grow into them soon. They are so much a favorite of his. Watching him practice until I was tired was exhausting. It was later discovered that he had put them back on after he'd been forced to take them off behind the table. My favorite thing about these is that they come with a tool that lets you adjust the speed of the wheels. This was his first pair of skates and it was a rough start, so being able to tighten the wheels was incredibly helpful. When we adjusted his shoes, he definitely stayed on his feet a little better. Originally, they came with a plastic bag with a roller skate/shoe compartment that looks like it could fit an adult's shoes and skates, but it ended up being perfect because now he could fit the pads and helmet in the bag too, and everything stays in its place. My son just turned 4 and I gave him this for his birthday. When it comes to opening up the clasps, they are easy to work, however, if you don't care to loosen the plastic straps, the opening can be rather snug. Although they were difficult to put on, we eventually managed to get them on by just opening them and unfastening the Velcro. They fit his feet that are a 10 or a 10 1/2 quite nicely. It surprised me that he liked them as well! I was really happy to see he did not get scared at all while walking down our hallway with dad holding his arms! As of right now, he fits perfect in the smallest size and is not yet ready to take it to the rink but it will adjust to him as he fits it perfectly in it's smallest size. A neat feature of this game is that the wheels light up. Moreover, it comes with a carrying case to keep it in while you are not using it. As a whole, I am satisifed with the product.
To keep my princess engaged, I was seeking an activity that she would find interesting and would get her moving. You did an awesome job!! From the soles of her feet to the soles of her ankles, these skates provide excellent support. Although the size arrived set at just the right size, the ability to be adjusted as her foot grows is a great benefit. She loves the way the wheels light up as she learns to roll along.

- It lights up when the wheels are turned - Despite the secure straps, there are some problems. I'm exasperated. This roller skate can be used by children as young as 8, and it has been well received by our 8 year old. As far as he can tell, they seem to be doing just fine he's still getting used to them. I like the way the wheels roll and how they light. As they are adjustable, you can slide them apart to increase or decrease the fit. In general, these Perzcare roller skates are fun and good value for the money.
