First and foremost, my family and all of our friends adore these skates, and I will continue to recommend them to anyone I know who has small children who enjoy roller skating and prefer to skate inlines rather than on flat surfaces. Quad skates are skates with four wheels. br>br>Our daughter is four years old, and the convertible setup to two wheels in the back has allowed her to gain confidence and balance while learning to skate on her own in less than a month. After spending time buying these skates, it won't affect my daughter in terms of growing and won't have me buying additional skates every time she decides to grow. These skates, by the way, have real bearings and wheels rather than skates from other competitors that typically don't. wheels in the air I looked in my local hardware stores and even searched the internet for a replacement plastic / metal spacer but was unsuccessful. I contacted Still Pro (the Amazon seller), and BR from Still Pro assisted me in receiving replacement parts (at no cost) and was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the process. He even included a cool USB light (thank you, BR!).

We had previously ordered two other quad roller skates, both of which were extremely difficult for our child to balance on, so we weren't sure how she'd fare with the three-wheel skates. Surprisingly, she feels more secure and balanced on these, and learning to skate is much easier for her. The roller skates have yet to be tried. br>br>The skates are packaged in a very nice plastic carrying case, but no instructions are included. Someone else in a review included a link to a YouTube video that demonstrated how to change the wheels from roller blades to roller skates, and it was simple to do after that. br>br>We've only used them a few times inside and once outside, so we're not sure how long they'll last, but they appear to be very sturdy.

This is an excellent product; I purchased them for my 5-year-old daughter, who adores them. Even though there are no instructions, converting the single rear wheel to a double is very simple. My daughter found the skates easy to use because of the extra stability provided by the double wheel in the back. The wheel bearing is of low quality, which is a good thing because it prevents beginners from falling too much, but it can easily be upgraded in the future as she improves. Another advantage is that the skate will fit her from size 11 to 14. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and have purchased a second pair for my 6-year-old niece.

My purchase has left me unsatisfied. We just opened it for the first time because it was a gift for my son, and the quality is terrible. The helmet serves no purpose. Because that's the helmet, you might as well strap a block of styrofoam to your child. While attempting to adjust the helmet, the connector came loose. There were no instructions included in the box, so if you gave them as a gift, the recipient would have no way of knowing how to turn them into roller skates without having to come out here. The pads aren't small enough, and they can't be adjusted. Last but not least, there's the bag. The stitching is already coming apart on day one, and the zipper came off in my hand while I was trying to zip it up, so the bag is now closed and I have no choice but to break the zipper to open it. The only thing I can say in their favor is that the skates are adorable. So, if you don't care about the quality of anything else, get these, but if you bought a set for a specific reason, get something else.

She's still working on staying strong enough to stay on them and stay upright, but the package included skates as well as protective gear for her hands, knees, elbows, and head. Awesome! If there's one thing I'm worried about, it's that she's a skinny baby, so the locking around her ankle isn't super tight for support, but I'm sure it'll work out fine as she grows.

This pair of rollerblades is fantastic. The pads are adequate for the task at hand. The helmet isn't something I'd recommend. I got it for the blades, which could also be skates, so I'm not worried about not wearing it, but I would recommend finding something safer.

Purchased for the 5th birthday of my granddaughter. They are adored by her. She skates both inside and outside, and the fact that the wheels can be moved to the back for added stability as she learns sold me. This is a gift that will last for longer than a minute.
