The bearings have been upgraded at a great price
5/5

My immediate upgrade to Bones Reds bearings after reading reviews was the best decision I could have made. It is a good thing I did, as the bearings that come with the unit aren't In addition to the leather lining, there is a nylon lining as well. I find the boot to be very comfortable. So far they haven't fully broken in, so the wheels are a bit slick on a wooden.

My skates were delivered in good condition, but the seller closed up shop shortly after

NONE OF THE ITEM I was cheated by the seller who closed the store and took my money. As soon as possible, Amazon came to the rescue. A couple of months after I was informed of the closing, Amazon refunded my money after I asked for it. As a result, I'm pleased with my life. It is impossible to find a better customer service experience than Amazon!.

This New Skater is a super cool game! Having a good time with my You can now skate around town! The Chi-raq landed on my doorstep this evening They arrived a few weeks ago and have been getting good use out of In view of the distance between my home and the nearest skating rink, I planned to practice often in an empty parking lot near my house
5/5

The wheels I got were indoor/outdoor, so I expected a "rough" ride, especially with factory bearings and wheels. Specifically, I was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly my skates roll and feel. I am a beginner, and the ride is smooth for me. The disappointment was not felt. The suggestion made by some was great I am thankful I checked and tightened all nuts immediately upon receiving the Over time, my tastes will change and my expectations of my equipment will change as well, but for now, I really like.

Bearings that are too large, order a smaller size
3/5

The boot fell off the There is nothing wrong with the bearings, but I will buy a new After less than an hour of skating, the right foot bearing on the right front went out. Also, I wear shoe size 12 and ordered shoe size 12, but I wish I had shoe It worked the same way for my wife who ordered the women's version. The following update Despite having to replace bearings and wheels, I skated for two hours more on them, lucky enough a friend had an old pair on hand. Those are the only things keeping the boot attached to the skate now. Since I am a 220 pound woman who is a good skater and fairly quick on the corners, I put a lot of pressure on them when I skate. As a result, I will be returning them and have already ordered a better brand based on the suggestion of a friend who has owned his own skates for some time.

It is at your own risk to purchase
3/5

A Saturday was the date the skates arrived. Later that day, my boyfriend and I went skating. After the wheel and stopper came off, I got them adjusted and replaced the stripped bars. Later that night I went skating with a friend at a different rink, and the stopper fell off again. Three days later, I noticed the boots separating from the He's so upset and embarrassed that I'm not sure what to do!

I thought Chicago Skates were top of the line, but I'm told these are the worst to buy.

It is necessary to have professional skates adjusted after buying beginner skates
3/5

This boot has a leather lining as stated in its description. of the bag is made of vinyl, and the inside of the bag is lined with leather. It is true that the boots need to be broken in, so they will not be comfortable at first. A size 9 would be appropriate for me. My shoe size is 5 and I ordered a nine according to the sizing chart. The boot runs big, and I think a 9 would fit me better. The shoe size is between a size 5 and a size 10. At the toe, there is about 3/4 inch of room. I cannot find anywhere in the description where the hardness or softness of the wheels is described. The wheels seem less stiff than my 78a wheels for my longboards. they are 78a too, and my assumption is that they are intended for external So far I have only used them inside, and they are good to grip on floors. This is the reason some people say your wheels need to be changed. In any case, if you are going to use these wheels outdoors, they are the This wheel's dimensions of 62 mm by 34 mm indicate that it is also suitable for outdoor use. In addition to the roller skates, there are a few pieces of paper. Their warranty states they are only valid for 30 days. In person stores typically have a 90 day return policy, so this is ridiculous. According to the company, if you have any issues in the 30 days after you purchase them, you can return them to the retailer. It basically means that the company does not have its own warranty. In the information that comes with the skates, it says that adjusting the roller skates is not necessary. It turns out that this statement is untrue in any way. This was the height of the toe stop and all adjustments were not made. As a result, they had to be lowered quite a bit so as to function. . (Toe stops are typically designed to be adjusted once and then replaced when they wear out, meaning there is no groove left on them. ). Lastly, I had to adjust the trucks, this is what holds the wheels in place. It is likely that one of the trucks was loose, which could have led to the plate cracking. A person with a cracked plate was mentioned in the reviews at least once. In most cases, adults roller skates nowadays are rated for 230 pounds or less. This can make the plate Nonetheless, if the truck is not adjusted properly on these skates, it can cause the plate to crack as well. It is also possible for a jump plate to crack if the jump plate is removed. In order for the pressure between the wheels to be spread evenly, the jump plate does not have to be used to jump. In light of the fact that the plate and trucks are designed cheaper, the jump plate has It is written on a paper that comes in the box that you are not permitted to perform any tricks with them. Designed only for rolling, they should not be used for any other purpose. I find this a little sad since every skater has to jump at least once in a while. The trucks were difficult to alter, especially as they were very small and difficult to mold. In order to reduce the cost of manufacturing the plate, it is constructed in a way that allows for very little adjustment. In turn, it makes it very hard for them to The screw and the lock have to be adjusted at the same time in order for them to work It is possible for a plate to crack if one or both of these factors are not present. On the trucks, there is something unusual about the bushings. Both are huge cylinders of the same shape and size. Normally, one is a cone, but these are large cylinders instead. There is a need for this adjustment so that the inferior trucks can be adjusted. They would not be able to be tightened properly otherwise. Therefore, if you do need to replace them, make sure you replace them with the same type of bushing. There is a universal skate tool included in the roller skates. A problem with this tool is that it does not include everything you will need The nut on the wheels can be removed, the toe stop can be adjusted, and one of the nut on the trucks can be removed. Nevertheless, you will need an additional wrench in order to properly adjust the trucks. The trucks should not be handled with flathead screwdrivers, since this will surely strip the surfaces. I noticed that my skates look brand new, but they seemed to have a worn out appearance on the trucks and the plates. There were serious scratches on them. The wheels on the car had never been rolled on, but they were brand new. In other words, I think plates and trucks were just badly manufactured. The bearings I replaced with ceramic ones were replaced. You might want to try the bearings that come with your skates for a month or so if you are a beginner. Additionally, I added toe guards to the front of the skates to prevent them from getting damaged. It is recommended to invest in some new wheels if you plan to use these on the ice or indoors. You will have to pay approximately $50 for each of them. You should budget between $100 and $200. There is no question that 92a wheels are the best indoor wheels, because they are so soft. The roller skates are very durable, and I would recommend them. It would be best suited for beginners who have a little bit of experience and are willing to adjust them themselves or take them to a shop for adjustment. They are also perfect for someone who wants to skate outdoors, so they won't have to spend money on anything else. Alternately, you might want to work on getting some better skates with the money you would have spent on new wheels. From a theoretical perspective, these roller skates are appropriate for beginners. There is nothing pleasant about the fact that the company does not have good quality control, nor does it back its product with an adequate One of the people in a video who received a free pair of these skates to make a video for a promotional video or tutorial was given a pair to give away. In reality, the company gave them two different sizes and one of the skate plates was improperly installed so the skate turned by itself. In other words, even when they are helping promote their skates, their quality control is extremely poor. The bags are not 100% leather, and I find the trucks ridiculously difficult to adjust to fit properly. I may return them.

These skates are very nice
5/5

Please note this. The size is exactly right We got a size 9 for my husband (he wears a size 9 shoe), and it Our expectation is that they will conform to his feet with extended wear since they are leather. A very nice pair of Please note that During our first skate session with these skates (2 hours), the wheels under the boots needed to be adjusted. They were VERY lopsided when we received them at first, so we thought we would have to return them. I was able to adjust them easily because the instructions and tool were provided. It was not necessary for us to return the items.

At the rink, they fell apart
3/5

The skates I bought were not worth the price I paid. I thought I was getting a good skate for the money I spent. These boots are made cheaply and feel cheap as well. I had to tighten my right front truck every 15 minutes after my first time at the rink so as to keep it from falling apart again. My toe spot came off shortly after I got to the rink and my right front truck became so loose that it almost fell apart. In addition to the wheel nuts loosening over time, the whole situation has made me concerned about my own safety on the ice. Having to think about when my skates are going to fall apart is not something that I want to be focused on while I thank you for everything you have done for me. Despite wearing a lot since the last time I skated it, I came across a truck that looked well-maintained and hadn't broken any parts. I didn't find anything really wrong with it aside from everything getting smaller have to get a new pair of shoes because I cannot wear these any longer. The fact that I have used them means that I cannot return Compared to other skates, these are not too It looks like I got a lousy pair of shoes. A beater pair of outdoor skates like these would not be too bad as long as you keep your skate tool handy.
