The truth is, it isn't shiny at all, but rather 'silky'. There is a lot of flattering cut and fit in this dress. The clothes did quite well when washed. If they came in every color, I'd buy them!

The color is just so pretty to me. Although I like it but it's a little snug for me. I would suggest ordering a size larger since they run small. I love it however!.

It is suitable for migraine sufferers and people who are sensitive to light. It has a nice, deep hood that is really cool. I am a little confused as to why the neck has a deep V shape, but I can add snaps to.

The coverup is fine, though, as I got it to wear on the beach. For a coverup, I got an XL in a nice purple color. I'm 5'8" and the XL is perfect for me. Despite their length, the sleeves still look a bit short.
