It's none of your business. The socks were way too big since I expected that they were female, but they arrived as male socks.
I love it! I appreciate your inquiry. I know that socks are generally unisex, with differences mainly in size. It is important to get the right size, instead of getting the wrong size! I don't really care if it's a man or a woman.
Here they are, but I wore them beneath the heavy Bridgedale summit socks while wearing double plastic boots on Mt Rainier's Kautz Ice Chute route. It was a great liner sock and I would recommend it without hesitation. It is composed of 57% Coolmax® / polyester, 20% Nylon / polyamide, 19% Endurofil® / polypropylene, and 4% Lycra® / elastane.
It is true, the calves are covered.

I use this lightweight liner sock as a regular sock despite the fact that it is listed as a "liner". The shoe is highly breathable as well as reinforced at the heel and toe at the points where it is most likely to be worn. In addition to Fox River socks, I also have the Fox River liner socks, which are less expensive but don't last as long as my regular socks. Then read on!.
A deluge of nearly 3 inches of rain was forecast over the past couple days before the hike, with a deluge right before I began. As this was a fundraiser/challenge hike, there was no control over the time or trail I would take. A couple spots on the trail were wet, and there were high stream crossings as well. The trail was a muddy soup, and there were places where water ran across the trail. I had wet feet for nearly 24 hours, except when I slept in dry socks I had with me, but I did NOT come away with blisters, and even though my feet were quite moist, I did not develop prune-shaped blisters. It worked amazingly well with these socks. I am going to buy more when they wear out!.
The blisters developed as a result of heel problems. These socks stay snug on my feet and get all the friction instead of my skin since they slide in between the outer wool socks. There will no longer be The same can be said about other commenters. Wow, that smell is amazing. The minute I took my outer socks off after hiking in the woods, I swear I saw bugs crashing and burning and plants withering all around me. Despite the fact that I received socks over the calf, they do not reach my feet. The socks are not even crew socks as I would not even call them that. When I tried them on, a part of my ankle slipped down. The socks advertised are not the socks you receive. It wouldn't make sense to recommend them or to Tomorrow, the sachets will be returned. After a 12 day backpacking trip in which I covered about 90 miles, the liner socks worked very well for me. My luggage contained two pairs of this and two pairs of another brand liner, but I only used these after I had wore the other one for a few hours. Although my feet were wet, I did not get blisters or hot spots while wearing these liners.
