Sadly, I had two flats right away, but luckily, I had these tools. It was a good idea to have three of them. Begin with one and attach it to a spoke. Collaborate with the others to remove the tire from the rim. br>br>When re- re- re- re- re- re- re- re- I flipped the tool over as I was installing my tire. I was able to get enough leverage to get the tire over the rim in that final crucial spot. br>br>This is a very tough tool. I don't see how it could be broken unless someone is abusing it. putting pressure on things br>br>In any case, I strongly advise them!.
However, the ends of the plastic are already chipping. Pros: I like how these connect to form a set that you can easily carry in your bag.
Cons: Two 29-inch mountain bike tires were removed and reinstalled using them. Because they were made of plastic, the ends began to break. They should last a few more tire changes, I'm confident. br>br>Summary: br>br> I would recommend a metal set if you want something that will last a long time.
Perfect for any tire; I was able to change a very tight 23mm tire/tube with no issues. Because I snapped one and bent several others, I had to wait until these arrived before changing it. I wish I had these to begin with because they knocked it out in no time. I'll probably buy a second set so I'll have them on hand at all times.
They're great for what they're supposed to be used for. Dealing with multiple pieces is simple thanks to the spoke hooks. I discovered that having a spray bottle filled with soapy solution made dealing with the dry rotted tires on my vintage mountain bike a lot easier. You'll get three pieces that snap together for easy storage and no worries about losing them. It was a breeze to change my tires, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do it themselves.
These cheap plastic things are too weak and poorly shaped to change a flat tire on my bike; they literally couldn't change the flat, and I had a bike shop mechanic use them, so the problem wasn't with the person using them. Get some that are made of metal or some that are made of other types of plastic.
It's a fantastic product that's simple to remove and install from your tire. The bit is still intact. I'm not sure how other reviewers came to the conclusion that there was perhaps too much force used. You must ride your bike carefully and slowly.
I have 700 x 25 tires, which makes changing a flat a pain. These, on the other hand, were a huge success.
They arrived on time and appear to be in good working order. Thankfully, I've never needed to use them. They're small and light, making them convenient to transport.
