Metric post diameter (it's metric) and thread size (9/16" or 1/16")
There is a threaded tip on the end of the post from where the clamp handle base meets the end of the post.
The threaded portion itself is one inch long, and we measure it from the inside of the handle to the end of the threaded portion. The package also includes two washers that are each 1/8 inch It would be great for a seat post to be used this way.
Approximately the same size as they appear on the label. Check with some bicycle shops to see if they can order the right size for you.

Originally, I purchased these quick releases in place of the stock skewers that came with my Xootr Swift folding bike. The seat post on that bike kept slipping and cold welding (galling), making the post stick Sheldon Brown claims that internal cam quick releases are superior for tightening up the clamp in this regard. So, I wanted a quick release I could clamp tighter.
The Swift measures 6x50 skewers on all its In spite of the fact that a range is given in the product description, there is no mention of it on the packaging. The 6x40 which was listed was actually 4x40 On the packaging, it says 50, but the contents are only 50. My bike's tires are an ideal fit for them. These quick releases are definitely tighter with less effort than the stock ones I like the rubber on the handles, although if this skewer has anything negative to say, it's that occasionally, the rubber slips when I crank them all the way There is a marginal weight difference between these and the aluminum/steel skewers that ship with They are not for people who are concerned about counting grams since they are all made of steel, as other users have said. The durability of these gears will depend on how well they perform over time. The next time I buy these, I'm probably going to buy them.
Despite its heavy weight, it works and is a good value at its price. I used it on my grandson's 24" Rockhopper bike.
An old Trek hybrid is being sold here. This was replaced with a bolt by someone. This is unacceptable. That part has been replaced with the right part, and I'm glad about that.
The quick release was as shown, but it had a rubber handle at the top. Added bonus! I am having fun with those fingers. There is a lot of weight on this quick release so beware if you care about reducing the weight of your bike. It's likely to last a long time. Rubber stays on the rubber part, so it will likely last the same length of time as the metal part. My cruiser looks great with it.
This seems to be a sturdy piece. There is some heft to it, which you may see as a positive or as a negative. The rubberized handle feels good in the hand. The user interface is simple and easy to understand. A replacement for the stock seat post bolt on a circa-1950 Ford B-type fits just fine The CCM brand 3 dates from 1971 One-inch wide post at the front of a speed bike.
As I work on building a vintage French bicycle to be used as a beater, I come across vintage French bike parts. In favor of this quick release, I replaced the bolt in type. I am satisfied with how well it works and holds my seat post securely The item arrived on time and was as described by the.
You can't go wrong with this quick release if you want to look old skool.
