It may work so long as it keeps both the folding mechanism and the Chain Catcher from interfering with one another. Chain catcher is fitted between the braze and the chain There is also an extended bolt included in this package for the front derailleur.
Shimano is the brand I use, but I can see that it would work with SRAM derailleurs as well. In a picture of the SRAM derailleur with the SRAM chain catcher, which is similar to the K-Motion chain catcher, I can see where that derailleur is mounted. This edge chain catcher is designed to catch chains at their ends. Make sure you look into the return policies of the vendor if you have any doubt. In case it turns out to be too small, you can send it back.
Has been tested with Shimano Di2, but I am not sure about Campagnolo

Neither the front derailleur nor chain catcher are fastened to the braze on mount with more than one bolt. So you will have to adjust the derailleur height (to clear the front big ring) and angle (to align the chain guide with the chain ring) at the same time as you adjust the chain catcher to make it parallel to the seat tube and to just the right degree A second screw is added) and a second nut is added. Basically, one holds the derailleur in place (unlike before the addition of the chain catcher) and the second holds the chain catcher, allowing the chain catcher to be adjusted independently. My time and my need to go through quite a few iterations before everything was right would have been saved if I had done that. The product works great once it has been installed. In the meantime, however, I hope I will not need to replace the derailleur on the mount again for quite some time.
In order to get the most out of my bike, I installed a power meter crankset with 10- and 11-speed compatibility. I would drop the chain sometimes regardless of how I set the limit screws.
I even moved the crank set to a new bike and it followed the chain. The chain catcher seems to have easily fixed the problem. I can see that the catcher has shifted a bit since I installed it, regardless of how well I tightened the bolt. As you can see, it is now resting against the bolt of works well, but the way it is attached with the single bolt is suspect and may cause it to rotate A bolt added to the pro version solves this problem, but at a higher cost.
The package did not come with instructions. It is a product I would recommend.
I've had that issue for a long time. Exactly how many times have I re-written the same sentence Adjust the derailleur, shift to a higher gear in the back before lowering the front to the inner ring, pedal in slow motion when shifting, nudge the shift lever as the chain moves? The problem was completely resolved by this. I found this to be an incredibly simple device that makes no noise and doesn't look like it was touched by the chain, but works completely. During the installation, I had no problems. The derailleur can be set up as usual and the arm can be brought close to the inner ring as usual. My initial thought was that I would need to adjust it, but it worked right the first time.
The chain my wife was wearing was too heavy for her to drop. Besides a carbon frame without a braze-on she also has a slim and lightweight carbon fork Derailleur mounts on the front of the bike. The bike is equipped with an Ultegra 6700 10-speed transmission This groupset speeds things up. The front braze needs to be mounted as follows My derailleur was an old Shimano Dura-Ace and I had to purchase a clamp for it An Ace derailleur is used at the front. An apparent flat surface covers the front side of the clamp. In order to attach the derailleur, the bolt for threading from front to back must be used. There are two kinds of Ks A bolt surface can be used for mounting Edge. This is the key it's a flat surface A curved surface can be found on many clamps. For the bolt to go through the thickness of the chain catcher and the clamp, I had to buy a longer one. A perfect alignment of the chain catcher did not pose any problem for me. As a side note, I use the K-Model Pro I bought an edge with braze-ons for my other bikes Here's to you. A great way to save your screen space! This is a highly recommended book.
Putting this on a shiny new Cervelo Aspero was my idea. Dropping the chain would ruin the paint on the frame because it has extremely tight tolerances. Let me tell you what it is. I can't figure out how to use it. It is my nature to be meticulous. Despite the fact that it was adjusted perfectly, the chain on the small chainring was only a fraction of a millimeter from the chain. In the course of 11 months, the chain managed to get behind the chain catcher at least 3 times, and the paint around my bottom bracket was damaged. If this thing fails, your chain will get trapped behind it, and you won't be able to remove it I accidentally bent the side plates the last time that happened and ruined the chain in the process. threw this damn thing away as soon as I took it off. An empty beer can is so stiff it's hard to pick it up. Having a criminal record should be a serious offense POS is so expensive because they charge so much for it. In the end, you would be better off without anything. Buying is not a good idea.
Recently, I got a carbon bike that had problems with my chain jumping off the small ring. I bought this to solve the problem. This happens every once in a while. In the same way, after I had installed this (10 minutes were all it took) I have not been able to make it happen. I think it's great -- It doesn't take much thought to come up with that. Please find below some additional information 2013 Specialized Roubaix Elite Apex is the bike I ride. It was my local bike shop that originally got me the Specialized part (it's part of most $2500+ bikes, but not mine) and they got it to me directly from the manufacturer. The battery was the same as the battery in It is a square of black aluminum with a scalloped head to clamp onto the front derailleurs. I got it on and it looked good, but it was too far from the small cog - Having this installed would have allowed the chain to fall directly through the gap, if it had jumped. As it could not be adjusted in any way, I would have had to bend the Specialized chain catcher to get it closer to the cog. So that's why I decided to get a It was a good decision to purchase the Edge product. Perfectly crafted, light as a feather, and highly adjustable, it is equal to any jewelry piece you may own. Additionally, I received a washer that was perfectly machined to fit my Specialized/SRAM front derailleur.
After installing the chain drop protection system, I have not experienced a single drop since. provides a great deal of benefits for a relatively low weight. It worked so well on my wife's Specialized Ruby whose chain would occasionally drop to the bottom bracket that I put one on hers. A chain wear indicator is particularly useful for carbon fiber bikes, in which the chain can damage the frame more easily.
