The chainstays of my bike are 16" wide, so it covers pretty much the whole flat area that could receive the chain. On my Giant XTC 29er MTB, I have a 32 inch tire.

Slap into the chain is silenced

it after I became embarrassed by the clanking of chains that came from my new Specialized Fate mountain bike. When I was riding on the road, I was just thinking, "Did I just accidentally run over something?". The sound of "whack, whack, whack" was pretty constant on mountain bike trails. In addition to eliminating the noise and embarrassment, this product also eliminates the potential damage caused by chain slaps. I had no problem installing it. Hot dogs are easily inserted into hot dog buns by opening them, placing them in them, and closing them. An analogy might make sense to you. The fact that it is black, makes the black chain grim more difficult to see. I think she made a great job of it. Don't worry so much about buying the wrong size, since the material is stretchy.

The sizes refer to the circumference of your chainstay, here are the dimensions from Lezyne's website The following is a small example of a job The dimensions are 95x250 mm (circumference x length). The dimensions of this item are 130 x 250 mm. The dimensions of the print are 180 x 250.

A STRONG TAPPING IN SIZE IS IMPLICIT WITH THIS PRODUCT. I am lucky to have a carbon fiber fork on my road bike. This is not a chain protector, nor is it grey. IT WAS JUST A LUCKY DAY FOR ME.

The problem is that they are too big

Chain protector of very large size. We bought it for use on a 29er Hardrock, but it was too big for us. In order to use it, I had to cut the Velcro and move it closer. wasn't worth returning because the cost of shipping the item back was more than the cost of the.
