My chain is bolted to an absolute black 32t oval chainring that is seated on a cove stiffener. Everything seems to be going well so far. This is a decent product, though not the best.
The chains guides are meant only to be used for 1x setups.
As far as I know, it did not fit in my niner jet9, but I am curious as to why you would need one with a Sram 1x12, the clutch on the derailleur works great.
Yes, I agree. With a Sram Eagle SX 1 x 12, 30t x synchro 2 chainring, I have a flawless ride. While compressed, there was an issue with clearance between the rear suspension and the ground, but it was resolved after adjusting

As soon as I bought my 2020 Marin Hawk Hill, I noticed that the chain sometimes skipped when heavy loads were applied. It still did it after I had it checked out and adjusted my Deore. A hard run later, the chain hopped off the gear set and the bike fell over. When I was looking for a bash bar, I came across Fouriers Chain Guides Bash Guard. Using this chain tensioner made my bike much more stable. The chain no longer skips This clearance is non-existent due to the gear pulley at the bottom that places slight tension on the chain, which means the chain will not jump off the gear set once the cage guides are The fact that I could just shop it pretty much made it bulletproof and squashed any negative vibes I had towards my Marin. I give this a five-star rating.
I found it to be well built and powerful enough for my rig alone. Since I don't need a bottom roller it is a perfect solution which reduces the weight. Plus, it protects the bottom brake cable and shifting cable, so it is a great overall product.
Fit and finish are of a high standard. Depending on the situation, a large chain ring may be All the hardware for the chain guard and guide was included in the package. Compared with entry level units, it is worth the extra cost to purchase a higher quality unit. It was easy to install, and it is solid to hold in the hands and on the bike as well. The Guide/Guard was mounted on a 2010 Transition Double dirt jumper. I do not think it is necessary for a more costly MRP type guard/guide. One final thing I notice is that the color looks great. That gave the item an extra appeal Quality goes along with the price. Bless you, John, and God bless you.
As soon as I notified the seller, they gave me a full refund and told me to keep the guide.
Quality. My work as a professional bicycle mechanic means I am familiar with MRP and This hardware does not have stainless steel pieces but rather zinc coated ones. There doesn't seem to be as much strength in the plastic. There is no information available to me about the type of aluminum There is a sealed cartridge bearing on the pulley, and I was pretty surprised to find that out. It is not mounted on my bike, so I cannot comment on durability. Is it super convenient, of course not. However, at a quarter of the price of similar guides, I think it's a sweet deal.
For the price, this is a great product. great and super easy to install and adjust. Very quiet but I still need to adjust since there is a slight rub on the guide on the lower gear. A set of spacers (3 pieces) was used for each row. There may be a need to rotate the There is no standard bike but this is a very good product. After a couple of rides, I noticed that my frame was out of alignment. My swing arm is covered in a layer of worn paint in the The suspension mount has been readjusted, and some plastic has been filed away from the top guide, hoping it will clear once it.
Installation and adjustability were excellent, and construction seems fairly robust. Running on my Deore XT 1x11 this chain guide has a tendency to rub light. The upper and lower did not cause the system to squeal that much. The lower guides are gone now, but I kept the guard. If you don't mind the rubbing noise or mostly do downhill, it might work. You could also use this to determine if you do like chain guides before spending all that money on something more expensive.
As I have been riding the trails here with it for a little while now, it has been handling the bumps and bruises quite well. Despite damage to the chain ring, it has held up well and saved me from replacing it. This is a good value for.
There seems to have been a different model that was not compatible with my situation.
