Questions & Answers
I hope this clarifies your query rather than adding to your confusion. Indoor cycle pedals do not appear to have a float (movement) degree. Yellow cleats float at a 6 degree angle, while blue cleats float at a 2 degree angle and should be fitted properly. Red cleats have no float and no movement, so they should be fitted properly with the appropriate pedals. I wear red cleats because I don't like to move around and usually cycle with few stops. The majority of people opt for the yellow cleats, which provide more float and are easier to adjust to. The minimum movement is 4 degrees at 9 degrees and 0 degrees. The angles are 5 degrees in either direction, but they are essentially the same. To avoid injury, you should get your cleats and pedals fitted by a professional. I hope you find this information useful.
Before you buy a bike, make sure the pedals are in good shape.
Yes, these will work if your shoes have a "Delta" cleat and that is what you use for spinning. I have some older-style Look pedals that I use with these cleats. I also use these cleats with my Peloton, which I replaced with my older Look pedals after the Peloton's pedals failed me. Look KEO is not compatible with these.
Installing cleats requires a 5/32 Allen wrench.

These were claimed to be Peloton compatible. They work in terms of technology. The clip, on the other hand in/clip- I'm afraid I'm going to break the pedal on my Peleton because it requires a lot of force. When I clip out, it doesn't just make a loud noise. I'm literally yanking the cleat out of my foot. My mother became stuck on the bike when she was unable to unclip. Not cool. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative Cycling has been a part of my life for the past 15 years. On my road bike, I've never had this problem with other Look Delta/compatible cleats, so I bought two sets for myself and a family member. Both sets of cleats are causing problems for us.
Our new Peloton arrived a few days ago. These were purchased to replace my old Shimano cleats, while my girlfriend purchased cleats directly from Peloton. They are the same person. The OEM Peloton ones are virtually indistinguishable. The reaction of my significant other after I showed her. "Make sure they're not mixed up. " I'd like to have the original Peloton ones on my bike. " She'd have no idea if she didn't ask. I wouldn't either, now that I think about it.
These were purchased to go with my Nike Superreps for my Peloton. It's simple to put together and looks great! It's also made of good, durable materials. These cleats clipped in better than the Peloton brand cleats, in my opinion.
Given the price of the bike and the required monthly subscription for classes, these cleats should come packaged with it. If you must purchase them, do so from a third party to avoid further exploitation by Peloton. The instructions are clear and easy to follow for a quick and painless installation. If you're having trouble clipping out, look up how-to videos on YouTube. Any issue is, in my opinion, inherent rather than caused by the design or manufacture of this cleat.
DO NOT BUY THESE CLEATS! So these aren't going to work with the bolts that came with them. The bolts are far too short to reach the holes in cycling shoes where they should be screwed in. I requested new bolts, but instead I'll have to repackage and return these for a complete replacement. This is a very frustrating process, and I fully expect to receive the same thing with bolts that are too short. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> When I requested a replacement with bolts that were the correct length, I received the exact same thing. These cleats will not be able to be installed because the bolts are still too short. WARNING: DO NOT BUY THESE CLEATS.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do! Excellent craftsmanship. I only wish the tool for tightening the screws had been included. To screw it on, I needed to find a tool similar to it.
Make sure my spd pedals aren't too big.
Screws appear to be a little short for the task at hand. It had been a slog from start to finish. I eventually got them to work, but that wasn't the reason I bought them in the first place. I switched to a different brand, which was much better.
