These are the solution for anyone with a Peloton who is experiencing "squeaky cleat" issues. Nothing worked when I tried dry lube on the pedals and the cleats that came with the Peloton shoes. I bought these and replaced them, and the squeak is no longer present.
At first, I was irritated because they slid side to side, and I assumed there was a problem with the cleats. I looked at a few videos to learn more about these cleats. These cleats are referred to as "Float" because they intentionally slide side to side to relieve stress on your knees. As other reviews have stated, there is nothing wrong with them; it's just the way they're built and feel, which differs from SPD cleats. They're similar to the Peloton bike in terms of performance.
I'm very pleased with my R065 shoes for my Peloton bicycle. These are used in conjunction with a pair of Shimano SH-100 skis. On my Peloton bike, I use R065 shoes, which allow for a little more lateral movement of my foot when locked in the pedal than the Peloton cleats, which is great for my knees. I don't mind the screws at all. I simply ensured that they were properly torqued and not over-torqued. They need to be torqued. Furthermore, I only use these on my Peloton bike, so I can't comment on their durability when walking on paved surfaces.
My Peloton bike squeaked when I got out of the saddle, and I tried everything their customer service told me to do to get it fixed. I had accepted that I would have to live with this annoyance, and these appeared in my search one day while looking for unrelated exercise equipment. I figured it couldn't hurt to give them a shot since a couple of other reviews said they helped, and I've already completed two rides with no squeaks. I'm overjoyed, and the ride is now a lot more pleasurable.
4 rides. These have been working well for me on my Pelaton Spin bike rides, which are about 3-hours long. Every week, four times. br>br>My issue is that they become loose and turn on me after about 3-months. 4 rides. I have a battery-operated camera that I use. to tighten them in with a power impact drill, but after 2-hours, The screws are beginning to strip after three tightenings. We've had these for about 5 weeks, and I expect to need new screws within the next month or two. br>br>On each spin bike revolution, you'll hear a metal tapping sound as the screws loosen. This can be aggravating until you re-install the program. I've only had this happen three times out of fourteen rides, but it's still annoying. ) For the time being, they are functional.
For the Peloton, I purchased these. When clipping in and out, they make a lot of noise, but that's true of all delta cleats. It's nice that they have some float in them so you can wiggle your foot laterally when you're not pedaling.
These cleats are a good match for my Shimano shoes. They work with Equinox and Soul Cycle bikes.
I put them in my izumis of pearl! They function flawlessly.
